Fig. 1 enthält alle Verbindungen, die sich von der Formel CH3F ableiten, durch Ersatz von Wasserstoff durch Chlor oder Fluor oder Chlor und Fluor, sowie weitere Daten, die zur Darstellung des Schemas notwendig sind. Auf der Horizontalen bedeuten die Zahlen 0 bis 4 den Halogengehalt, auf der Vertikalen sind die Siedepunkte in Celsiusgraden ein- olezeichnet. Bei jedem Schnittpunkt ist der r Chlor- und Fluorgehalt angegeben;
Refrigeration experience. The present invention relates to a refrigeration method. It is characterized in that an aliphatic hydrocarbon with a fluorine substitution and at least one additional halogen substitution is condensed and then evaporated in the vicinity of the body to be cooled.
An a.liphatic hydrocarbon substituted by fluorine and another halogen, for example a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon, for example a methane substituted by fluorine and chlorine, such as difluorodiehloromethane, an ethane substituted by fluorine and another halogen, such as Tetrafluoromonochloroethane or tetrafluorodichloroethane used,
where it is advantageous to take care that one chooses a compound that is non-flammable and practically non-toxic (i.e. as far as the area of use is concerned). In the following, for example, an overview of the characteristic properties of compounds containing one and two carbon atoms will be given.
1 and 2 of the drawing are graphical representations, the lines of which relate to typical compounds with one or two atoms of carbon, and which illustrate the regularity to which all aliphatic hydrocarbons substituted by fluorine and optionally another halogen are subjected .
In general, the boiling point of a compound decreases when the fluorine content ('the number of fluorine atoms) is increased - the compound has the formula CH3F, on the other hand, the stability increases, the flammability and the toxicity in turn decrease. If the fluorine content remains constant and another halogen is introduced into the core, the boiling point increases, stability decreases, toxicity increases, flammability decreases. The change. Changes depend on the nature of the halogen introduced (chlorine, bromine or iodine).
As the halogen content increases in relation to the hydrogen content, the flammability decreases. Since there are several variables and the value of the relative proportions changes, the aforementioned connection types are shown schematically in FIG. 1, which shows
how the changing content of halogens brings about desirable cryogenic properties; and how refrigerants are composed for particular purposes. The fluorine content increases from left to right along the dashed lines, and the chlorine content of the compounds increases along the solid lines. If bromine is used instead of chlorine, the curves are similar, only they lengthen in the direction of higher temperatures. When iodine is used, these temperatures are even higher.
The extension can easily be determined by determining the boiling point of some of these compounds.
Fig. 1 contains all compounds which are derived from the formula CH3F, by replacing hydrogen with chlorine or fluorine or chlorine and fluorine, as well as further data which are necessary for the representation of the scheme. On the horizontal, the numbers 0 to 4 indicate the halogen content; on the vertical, the boiling points are shown in degrees Celsius. The chlorine and fluorine content is given at each intersection;
The formula of the corresponding compound is obtained by inserting these halogen substituents into the formula CH, Furthermore, a dashed horizontal line is drawn at approx are desirable.
It is clear that one can deviate more or less from this line in order to achieve optimal conditions, which include some other factors, so that a suitable coolant can be determined in the vicinity of this line, with such wide variations within the limits described above. If, under other cooling conditions, another optimal line is deemed desirable, this choice can be made in the vicinity of this line.
In fact, the intrinsic ZVoperation of the cooling apparatus and the creation of characteristic coolants are combined here in one task and you can thus achieve the best possible cooling under a given number of conditions.
FIG. 2 shows the behavior of coolants from compounds of the same type as in FIG. 1, with the difference that two carbon atoms are present.
In Fig. 2, 0 = CH, 1 = CH2F, 2 = CHF, 3 = CF3, 4 = CH, C1, 5 = CHC12, G = CC13, 7 --- CHCIF, S = CCIF2 and 9 = CC12F with the proviso that, for example, 0, 1 is the connection CH .. CH2F, 2, 9. The connection CHF,. CC12F, 1, 4 the compound CH2F.
CH2C1 and 2, 2 the connection CHF,. Means CHF2 etc. If a compound is selected as the nucleus which contains two or more carbon atoms, then it follows from the structural formula that the halogen substitution can take place at different points. The structural formula of C, H, F is CH., - CH = F; the boiling point of this compound is around - 32 C.
If you replace another hydrogen atom with fluorine in the second radical, so that a compound of the formula CH3 - CHF2 results, the boiling point of this coolant is around - 45 C. However, if you replace the hydrogen in the first group by fluorine, so that a compound of the formula CH2F - CHZF results, the boiling point of this coolant is around - 22 C.
It emerges from the above that, in general, when fluorine instead of hydrogen enters a radical which already contains a halogen, the boiling point of the compound is lowered, while when fluorine instead of hydrogen enters a carbon radical that is still contains no halogen, the boiling point of the compound increases. Substitutions of chlorine, bromine, and iodine increase the boiling point, all the more if the radical does not contain halogen than if the halogens mentioned enter a radical which already contains a halogen atom.
The graphic representation can also be carried out for other aliphatic fluorides. As the number of carbon atoms increases, so does the diversity and expansion of the representation with the number of halogens present. Aliphatic fluorides, which also contain other halogens, who are represented by the formula: CIHmhpxr where C is the carbon and n is the number of carbon atoms in the molecule, which can be 1 or greater than 1.
H is hydrogen and m is the number of hydrogen atoms, which can be equal to 0 and yet meet the requirements of the invention.
F means fluorine and p the number of fluorine atoms which is equal to 1 or greater than 1.
Y means chlorine, bromine or iodine, or combinations of these substances and r the total number of these atoms.
Of these compounds, mari preferably uses those from .der methane oil in air-cooled household refrigerators, especially dichlorodifluoromethane. From the olefin group one can use 1,2 chlorine fluoroethylene.
With the present refrigeration process, all requirements for appropriate cooling can be met; suitable refrigeration means can also be selected for specific purposes. Nan can manufacture a desired refrigerant and set up the refrigeration apparatus for use for that refrigerant.
The greatest advantage of the invention is that you have a very large number of refrigeration means at hand, so that you can achieve almost any desired purpose.
It is preferable to use refrigerants which have a boiling point of around -60 ° C. and above at atmospheric pressure.
