Fiche pour prise de courant. La présente invention a pour objet une fiche pour prise de courant comportant le support, cri matière isolante, de bornes aux quelles aboutissent les fils d'un cordon. Cette fiche est caractérisée par le fait qu'à chaque borne est relié électriquement un organe à pointe effilée monté sur le support de matière isolante, dans le but que -chaque organe à pointe, lorsqu'il est implanté dans l'un des fils d'un cordon souple conduisant du courant électrique, puisse y prendre contact avec l'é lément métallique de ce fil pour relier élec triquement ledit cordon souple au cordon de la fiche elle-même.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à .titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention dont les fig. 1 et 2 sont deux vues extérieures perpendiculaires l'une à l'autre, dont la fig. 3 est une vue partiellement en coupe et dont la fig. 4 est une vue en pers pective en position d'emploi.
1 et 1' désignent deux parties symétriques d'un support en matière isolante moulée dont l'intérieur présente des logements des divers organes ci-après décrits. Une pièce 2 de ma tière isolante peut recouvrir les pièces logées entre les deux parties 1 et l' et protéger les objets extérieurs de leur contact.
Ces pièces 6, 7, 12 et 13 sont, les deux premières, des bornes respectivement reliées aux fils 14 et.<B>15</B> du cordon 16 de la fiche et les deux dernières 12 et 13 sont de simples plots maintenus dans les logements moulés des pièces 1 et 1'.
Les bornes 6 et 7 portent des organes 8 et 9 avec lesquels elles sont électriquement en contact et porteurs de pointes 10 et 11 telles que des pointes d'aiguilles à coudre.
Dans la forme décrite, le couvercle 2 est fixé au moyen de deux fiches 5 et 6 analogues aux fiches proprement dites des fiches ordi naires qui se vissent dans les bornes 6 et 7 et peuvent aussi bien se visser dans les plots 12 et 13. Une vis 3 sert à assembler les pièces 1 et 1'. L'emploi de la fiche est le suivant: Lorsqu'on ne dispose dans un local que d'une seule prise de courant par exemple ou d'un appareil suspendu à un cordon souple et qu'on a besoin d'un plus grand nombre de prises pour alimenter divers appareils, on peut obtenir ces prises en nombre quelconque en recourant à autant de fiches selon la présente invention.
Une fiche ordinaire 20 étant mise en place dans la prise murale, son cordon 19 constitue une dérivation du secteur de distribution. Pour prolonger cette dérivation par le cordon 16, il suffit de dévisser les fiches 5 et 6 pour découvrir les pointes 10 et 11 par enlèvement de la pièce 2. On transperce alors transver salement chac n des fils 18 et 17 du cordon 19 par les aiguilles 10 et 11 respectivement. Un fil de cordon souple étant fait d'un fais ceau de fils métalliques très fins entouré d'une matière isolante, on doit prendre garde que les aiguilles le traversent diamétralement afin qu'elles entrent en contact avec ledit faisceau de fils fins.
Cela étant fait, on replace le couvercle 2 et on le fixe de préférence en vissant les fiches 5 et 6 dans les plots isolés 12 et 13 afin qu'elles ne soient plus employées qu'en guise de moyens de fixage et ne puissent pas donner lieu à des accidents ou â des courts-circuits résultant du fait que si elles étaient vissées dans les bornes 6 et 7, elles se trouveraient électriquement reliées avec la dérivation 19. Ces moyens de fixage ont ici la forme de fiches pour que la fiche selon l'invention puisse être employée comme une fiche ordinaire.
La fig. 5 montre l'adaptation de<B>là</B> fiche au cordon 21 d'une lampe suspendue au plafond d'un local.
Plug for socket. The present invention relates to a plug for an outlet comprising the support, cry insulating material, of terminals to which the wires of a cord terminate. This plug is characterized by the fact that at each terminal is electrically connected a member with a tapered tip mounted on the support of insulating material, with the aim that -each member with a tip, when it is implanted in one of the wires of 'a flexible cord conducting electric current, can make contact there with the metal element of this wire to electrically connect said flexible cord to the cord of the plug itself.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention of which FIGS. 1 and 2 are two exterior views perpendicular to each other, of which FIG. 3 is a view partially in section and of which FIG. 4 is a perspective view in the use position.
1 and 1 'denote two symmetrical parts of a support of molded insulating material, the interior of which has housings for the various members described below. A part 2 of insulating material can cover the parts housed between the two parts 1 and the and protect the external objects from their contact.
These parts 6, 7, 12 and 13 are, the first two, terminals respectively connected to the wires 14 and. <B> 15 </B> of the cord 16 of the plug and the last two 12 and 13 are simple maintained studs in the molded housings of parts 1 and 1 '.
The terminals 6 and 7 carry members 8 and 9 with which they are electrically in contact and carry points 10 and 11 such as sewing needle points.
In the form described, the cover 2 is fixed by means of two plugs 5 and 6 similar to the plugs proper of the ordinary plugs which are screwed into the terminals 6 and 7 and can also be screwed into the studs 12 and 13. A screw 3 is used to assemble parts 1 and 1 '. The use of the plug is as follows: When there is only one outlet in a room, for example, or an appliance suspended from a flexible cord and a larger number is needed sockets for powering various appliances, these sockets can be obtained in any number by using as many sockets according to the present invention.
An ordinary plug 20 being placed in the wall outlet, its cord 19 constitutes a branch of the distribution sector. To extend this derivation by the cord 16, it suffices to unscrew the plugs 5 and 6 to discover the points 10 and 11 by removing the part 2. We then pierce each of the threads 18 and 17 of the cord 19 dirtily by the needles. 10 and 11 respectively. A flexible cord wire being made of a bundle of very fine metal wires surrounded by an insulating material, care must be taken that the needles pass through it diametrically so that they come into contact with said bundle of fine wires.
This being done, the cover 2 is replaced and it is preferably fixed by screwing the plugs 5 and 6 into the insulated studs 12 and 13 so that they are no longer used except as fixing means and cannot give cause accidents or short circuits resulting from the fact that if they were screwed into terminals 6 and 7, they would be electrically connected with branch 19. These fixing means have here the form of plugs so that the plug according to the invention can be used as an ordinary plug.
Fig. 5 shows the adaptation of <B> there </B> plug to the cord 21 of a lamp suspended from the ceiling of a room.
