Beiliegende Zeichnung stellt ein Ausfüh rungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar, darin ist Fig. 1 ein Querschnitt durch den Kühler, nach der Linie I-I in Fig. 2, wobei die Lötnähte strichpunktiert angedeutet sind;
Louvre cooler. The subject of the present invention is a lamellar cooler, which is characterized in that on both sides of the water lamellae delimiting the waterways, protruding into the airways and forming water sacs are provided, and that the airways are divided into channels by airway lamellas arranged between the waterways a part lies in such a way that the cooling air flowing through the same brushes the mentioned water bags.
The air channels provided between each two waterways can be connected to one another by means of bulges and indentations provided in the airway lamellas, each provided with a bulge, in such a way that air turbulence occurs, which increases the effectiveness of the cooling air.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, therein Fig. 1 is a cross section through the cooler, along the line I-I in Fig. 2, the solder seams being indicated by dash-dotted lines;
Fig. 2 is a plan view of part of an airway lamella from the side of a water lamella seen from Fig. 3 is an end view of part of the cooler to make clear the contact surfaces between the lamellae, Fig. 4 is a section along line IV-IV in Fig 6; Fig. 5 is a plan view of a portion of a water lamella, and Fig. 6 is a plan view of a portion of an airway lamella from the side of a water lamella to clarify the mating edges.
According to the drawing, each waterway of two water lamellae 1, 2 respectively. 5, 6 limited, while the air path between two waterways by two special air lamellae 3, 4 is determined. All lamellae consist of specially shaped metal sheet strips by means of press rollers, which are zigzag-shaped with truncated edges 8 on the earths 7 and are only soldered to one another at these ends (FIGS. 1, 2 and 5).
The water lamellae 1, 2, 5 and 6 (Fig. 1 and 5) are all equal to each other and two each delimit a zigzag-shaped waterway, shown hatched in Fig.1. These water lamellae, however, have jagged protrusions at all re-entrant angles into the airways, forming water sacs 9, whereby the water content of the waterways is increased.
The airway determining the airway lamellae 3, 4 are divided lengthwise into three ten strips; Of which only the first nine of the lamella 3 are shown in FIG. 6, namely 7 and 12-19. Of these run 12, 17 and 19 zigzag, with prongs 10 (Fig. 4) in place of the truncated edges B. Strip 15, however, contains fitting edges 11 (Fig..4 and 6), by means of which the mutual position when building the cooler the slats is fixed. These fitting edges are seen from the hollow side in FIG. 6 and fit into the flutes 20 of the lamella 4 (FIG. 1).
The remaining strips 13, 14, 16 and 18 contain laterally cut at 22, each provided with a bulge 23 bulges and indentations 25, which, since they are open at 22, the separate air channels 24 created by the serrations of the air lamellae ( Fig. 1) in such a way that air eddies are created which wash around the water sacs 9 delimited by the channels and thereby increase the effectiveness of the cooler. In Fig. 6 these indentations and bulges 25 are seen in the strips 13, 16 from the hollow side and in the Strei fen 14, 18 from the raised side of ge.
The two airway lamellae 3 and 4 have the same shape, but are placed on top of one another rotated by 1800 so that the strip 15 covers the strip 19. The shape shown and the arrangement of the lamellae provide effective cooling, in such a way that the width of the lamellae can be selected to be much narrower, for example in the ratio of 7 to 12, than that of other lamellar tubs. This not only saves space but also material.
