Arrangement for the amplification of the excitation of asynchronous reactive power masels with stator excited and provided with pronounced poles Iiommutator Hinter- machine when the mains voltage drops.
The use of asynchronous machines for both active and reactive power generation in parallel operation of power plants over long lines makes a faster excitation of the machine necessary, just as with synchronous machines to increase the operational stability, in order to avoid the influence of load surges that bring about a decrease in tension, compensate.
The asynchronous machine j has, for its excitation, a commutator rear machine connected to the secondary circuit, which is excited in the stator with slip frequency and which is equipped with pronounced poles (between which reversing poles are) to improve commutation in the stator.
The excitation of the commutator rear machine and thus also the asynchronous machine is now like this. Depending on the line voltage, it is ensured that when the line voltage drops, the excitation is automatically increased and thus the fall in the line voltage is counteracted. The arrangement for this can be designed in various ways, for example according to the arrangement according to Switzerland.
Patent no. <B> 19-7373. </B> This increase in excitation when the mains voltage drops is somewhat more favorable in terms of speed than with synchronous machines with excitation machines and an auxiliary excitation machine, because the response time of the voltage regulator ceases to exist and the asynchronous machine as a result of its distributed rotor winding in and of itself has a lower rotor winding time constant.
The time constants of the commutator back-end machine and the auxiliary exciter machine required for this are, however, of the same order of magnitude as those in synchronous machines and are also effective in the same way for the excitation process, since the period duration of the excitation current carrying the low-speed frequency is large when in operation the machine time constants.
The condition of voltage regulation, which is necessary for the stability of the synchronous machines working together with the asynchronous machine, if possible within a quarter pendulum oscillation period of the synchronous machine, can therefore only be achieved through special measures.
The invention relates to an arrangement for amplifying the excitation of asynchronous reactive power machines with a stator-excited commutator rear machine provided with pronounced poles when the line voltage drops. According to the invention, when the mains voltage drops, an additional voltage is switched on by a relay in the secondary circuit of the asynchronous machine, which leads to an amplification of the excitation current acting on the phase compensation in the secondary circuit of the asynchronous machine.
The invention can be carried out in various ways. Some exemplary embodiments are given in the drawing.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, 1 represents an asynchronous reactive power machine, in the secondary circuit of which a commutator rear machine 2 of the type described is switched on. 3 is the prime mover for the commutator back machine. The excitation winding 4 in the stator of the commutator rear machine, which carries the slip frequency, is fed from the network via a compensated frequency converter 5 and a regulating transformer 6.
In order to increase the excitation of the commutator back-end machine when the voltage drops in the network, a transformer 9 is provided, the primary winding of which is connected in series with inductors 8 to the network and its secondary winding in the connections between the transformer 6 and the Frequency converter 5 is switched on. The choke coils 8, which are equipped with an iron core, are dimensioned in such a way that, due to iron saturation, they take a large magnetizing current from the network at normal mains voltage.
The secondary voltage occurring at the transformer 9 counteracts the voltage of the transformer 6 and thus reduces the excitation voltage on the slip rings of the frequency converter 5. At. If the mains voltage drops, there is a very strong reduction in the magnetization current at the choke coils 8.
The counter-voltage introduced by the transformer 9 into the secondary circuit of the transformer 6 decreases to the same extent, so that the resulting voltage on the slip rings of the frequency converter 5 and thus on the excitation of the commutator rear machine 2 increases, despite the fact that the mains voltage drops .
So that this amplification of the He excitation when the mains voltage drops, a series machine 10 is switched on with the help of a relay controlled by the mains voltage when the mains voltage drops in the secondary circuit. This series machine runs at a constant speed, for example as a result of coupling with the asynchronous machine 1.
When running as a generator, it represents a negative resistance and therefore prevents the voltage-holding free rotating field in the machine 1 from decaying until the amplification of the excitation by means of the commutator rear machine becomes effective in the secondary circuit of the asynchronous machine. For the automatic switching on of the series machine 10, a voltage drop relay 11 connected to the network is provided, which controls a switch 12 that switches the series machine 10 on and off in the secondary circuit.
In the arrangement according to FIG. 2, two commutator rear machines 13 and 14 are provided, the field windings of which are connected in series in the stator and are fed by the frequency converter 5 in the same way as in the arrangement according to FIG. The commutators of the two Hintermaschi NEN are switched on during normal operation of the asynchronous machine 1 in parallel in the secondary circuit of the asynchronous machine, the switch 15 being in the position shown.
In the event of sudden voltage changes in the network, in particular when the network voltage drops, the two commutator machines 13 and 14 are switched over in such a way that they feed the secondary winding of the asynchronous machine 1 in series. To achieve this, the secondary winding of the machine 1 is designed as an open winding and connected to three slip rings. The Sehleifringsatz 16 is short-circuited when the commutator rear machine is connected in parallel in normal operation.
For the series connection, this short circuit is lifted by the voltage drop relay 11 and at the same time the switch 15 is switched to the right contact by the same relay relay, whereby the series connection of the two commutator rear machines is made ago. After double the voltage for generating the excitation current is available in machine 1 when the rear machines are connected in series, the excitation is greatly increased.
Another means of carrying out the invention consists in increasing the speed of the commutator rear machine in the event of sudden changes in current or voltage in the network, which means that it can also emit a greater excitation voltage during the day. In the arrangement according to FIG. 1, this can be achieved in that the drive motor 3 for the commutator rear machine is brought to a higher speed by means of pole switching. The pole switching is again brought about automatically by the relay 11.
