     Spaten,    insbesondere zum Schneiden von Heu.



   Spaten zum Schneiden von Heu und der gleichen, bei denen die untere Kante des :
Blattes als Scheide ausgebildet ist, sind be    kannt. Das Arbeiten    mit diesen ist)   jedocl     öfters mühsam.



   Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun ein   Spaten,    insbesondere zum Schnei den von Heu, durch welchen dieser Nachteil beseitigt werden soll. Dies wird dadurch er reicht, dass ausser der untern Kante des Spa tenblattes auch dessen Seitenkanten als
Schneide ausgebildet sind.



   Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist der
Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispiels weisen   Nusführungsform dargestellt, und    es zeigt :
Fig.   1    eine Ansicht,
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansieht, und
Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht.



     1    ist das Spatenblatt, dessen untere Kante als Scheide 3 ausgebildet ist. Der Stiel 2 des Spatens ist mittelst Nieten 4 am Spatenblatt   1    befestigt. D freie Ende desselben weist eine Handhabe 5 und nahe des Blattes    1    in bekannter Weise einen   Fusssteg    6 auf.



   Die Scheide 3 verläuft schief. Die bei den parallel zueinander verlaufenden Seiten    kantien    des Blattes   1    sind ebenfalls als
Schneiden 7   ansgebildet.    Die   Übergangs-    stellen der Schneiden 3,7 bilden scharfe
Ecken 8.



   Das   Eindrücken des Spatenlulattes zum   
Beispiel in den Heustock beim beschriebenen    Spaten    ist wesentlicli leichter, als wenn nur die untere   Vante    des Blattes mit einer
Scheide versehen wäre, auch   das Wieder-    herausziehen   benotigt    einen kleineren Kraft aufwand.

   The sheath 3 is crooked. The kantien in the parallel pages of the sheet 1 are also as
Cutting 7 formed. The transition points of the cutting edges 3.7 form sharp ones
Corners 8.

Claims

Claim: Spade, in particular for cutting hay, in which the lower edge of the leaf is designed as a cutting edge, characterized in that the opposite side edges of the leaf are also designed as cutting edges.

SUBClaim: Spade according to patent claim, characterized in that the side edges of the sheet run parallel to one another, the transition points of the same to the sheath being kept sharp at the lower sheet edge.
