Sicherheitseinrichtung an Steckervorrichtung.
Safety device on plug device. The sockets of the commonly used connector devices have the after part that the contact points are protected too little against touching, against the introduction of needles, nails, even metal, and can easily give rise to accidents from this circumstance.
The subject of the present inven tion is a safety device with a locking device that prevents touching the contact points or receiving electrical power, except with the plug controlling the cover plate, which is located in front of the contact points.
It is characterized in that it has a fork-shaped slotted metal strip attached to the connector, longer to a working path compared to the contact pins, the tongues formed by the slot expire at the free ends from the inside to the outside in tips, wel cher strips when Inserting the plug into the socket after passing through the guide plate and after releasing the lock, unscrew the cover plate located in front of the contact points by gripping a cross-section that is firmly connected to the plate and guided in a bearing piece,
whereby the through holes made in the cover plate for the contact pins come to lie over the contact points and thus give the contact pins the way to the contact points.
The subject matter of the invention can be seen from the drawing in an exemplary embodiment and FIGS. 1 and 2 show two axial sections lying perpendicular to one another; through the plug device and FIG. 3 the individual parts of the safety device.
The operation of the present ge recorded safety device is the following: When inserting the fork-shaped slotted metal strip A on the connector, the two tongues of which emerged through the slot at the free ends wedge-shaped at the free ends from the inside to the outside run out in a wedge shape into the slot a of the above borrowed guide and fastening plate B, the bolt C, which is pushed outwards away from the center by the spring b, is grasped by the tip of a key and moved towards the center due to the wedge-shaped shape of the same.
The rotating mechanism of the cover plate D made of insulating material consists of a metal ring E with a cross-sectioned web F. This metal ring E pressed into the cover plate is perpendicular to the plugging direction; the web I 'is shifted in the "secured" box so that the two tips of the key A when you push in the plug further and after releasing the lock at the transition points x in the ring touch the web laterally and through the wedge shape of the tips after Want to push the center.
Because the ring E is rotatably mounted on a bearing piece G, the web is pivoted in the plane of the ring and then comes to rest in the slot of the key A. The pivoting of the bar also results in a rotation of the ring, because the ring and bar form one piece; consequently, the cover plate is rotated because the ring and plate are firmly connected to each other. Only now are the contact points free, since the openings c in the cover plate come to rest over the corresponding contact openings; the contact pins, which are shorter by the described travel of the key, are pushed into the contact points when the key is inserted further.
When removing the plug, the contact pins are pulled out, the cover plate rotates back into its old position with the aid of the spring H, the locking device snaps into place and the socket is "secured" again.
