Schraubensicherung.
Screw locking. The present invention relates to a screw lock.
The invention consists in that the nut has a conical projection which is intended to penetrate into a corresponding, conically shaped base when the nut is screwed tight, and that the nut has a slot which penetrates the nut with the projection in that this structure forms an open ring.
The drawing illustrates example, an embodiment of the screw backup and a detailed variant.
Fig. 1 and 2 show the screw securing tion partially in section and in plan view; Fig. 3 shows the nut alone in side view; Fig. 4 shows a second embodiment form of the nut.
In Fig. 1, 1 represents a piece of any machine part and 2 represents a screw bolt which is screwed onto the nut.
This nut consists of the well-known hexagon 3 and a set of 4 (see also Fig. 3). The nut and attachment are made from a single piece.
A slot or saw cut 5, which goes through the nut and shoulder at an angle, turns the screw nut into an open ring. The slot is wide enough that the ring thus formed can be compressed somewhat in the direction of the diameter.
The conical approach 4 is intended to penetrate when screwing the nut into a corresponding conical recess in the un pad.
This conical recess can, as shown, be milled out in a metal ring 6 or also directly in the machine part 1 itself.
If the screw nut is now firmly screwed and tightened, the conical extension 4 clamps more and more into the conical recess of the base and the open ring formed by the nut and extension is pressed together against the bolt.
The slot 5 can be directed in any direction; it can be directed axially parallel ge, for example, as the embodiment of FIG. 4 shows. Fr can also have a shape other than that described, for example be delimited by curved or broken surfaces. It is also not absolutely necessary for the two limiting surfaces to run parallel to one another.
The mother could of course be executed as a square or in any other shape.
