Waschvorrichtung.
Washing device. The present invention relates to a washing device which is particularly useful for household use. It consists of a washing vessel with an air inlet pipe and a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner is connected with its bubble opening to the air inlet pipe of the washing vessel, so that air is pressed into the washing vessel. In the washing vessel, a sieve bottom is arranged under the items to be washed, which serves to distribute the air in the washing vessel.
Furthermore, a sieve bottom is bracbt above the items to be washed, which limits the upward movement of the items to be washed and thus creates a free space in the washing vessel in which the air can separate from the water and soap particles. A lid with an opening for letting the air out is located on the washing vessel. Means are also provided for destroying or retaining the soap bubbles and mist.
An embodiment of the Waschvor direction, consisting of a vacuum cleaner and a washing vessel, shows the accompanying figure, in which the washing vessel in section and the vacuum cleaner are shown schematically. The wascbgefäß is placed on a fire place of any kind, while the vacuum cleaner is conveniently placed a little apart. In the washing vessel a, the air inlet pipe b is attached since Lich, with which the bubble opening of any vacuum cleaner c of known type is connected, for example by rubber sleeves and metal hose.
The air inlet pipe can of course also be introduced into the washing vessel in a different form, for example along the inside wall of the washing vessel or through the lid, or it can also be pivoted or replaced by a hose.
In the washing vessel, a sieve bottom d is arranged below, which is held by its own weight or by holding devices in the lower part of the washing vessel. It is provided with holes and serves to distribute the air, at the top of the washing vessel there is a sieve bottom e, which can also be held by a holding device or freely presses with its weight on the laundry that is between the bottoms d and e is located.
In the illustrated embodiment, the sieve trays with the highest point di and the lowest point d2 are designed in the shape of a wave ring. The air collects in the annular space under di and exits upwards through the holes made there. The holes are of different sizes, so that the air at the point of introduction is somewhat restricted and is evenly distributed over the entire washing vessel.
The deepening of the sieve bottom at point dz means that the air hits the inclined surface and therefore cannot exit through the hole at point d2. The same effect can of course be achieved by ribs on a level floor. This arrangement now causes water to circulate in the washing vessel, in that the D4rasser rises with the rising air through the holes at the highest point di and, after the air has passed out, falls back to the hole at the highest point d2 or the edge of the vessel. This water circulation is promoted by the shape of the upper sieve bottom e, which directs the water to the center and the edge of the washing vessel.
To make it easier for the water to flow back, a pipe, indicated by dashed lines in the drawing, can also be attached to the upper floor e, which protrudes into the water space and thus prevents individual items of laundry from flowing back.
The washing vessel is closed, for example, by a lever lock with a cover f, which is dome-shaped or conical and has a trigger g in the middle. The space between the sieve bottom e and the lid f is dimensioned to be large enough so that the air can separate from the water and soap particles there. The soaps and mists, which continue to rise with the air, are brought together towards the middle by the shape of the lid and are subjected to destruction and disposal at this point. For this purpose, for example, a close-meshed sieve bottom h arranged in the fume cupboard g can be used.
Furthermore, any type of fretting surface can be attached above or below the sieve bottom. One can also introduce the branch flow of air, which will be discussed below, at this point.
The trigger carries a groove i and widens above this groove to the part lt. In this groove, a sieve in the form of a bag l is attached, for example, by a resilient wire ring or in another way, which is made of textile fabric, metal gauze or the like . The soap bubbles that appear are retained and destroyed by this sieve. The moisture that forms in the process runs down the cap, is caught by the extension k of the fume cupboard and from there back into the washing vessel. But you can also attach the bag Z by a wire or a cord outside of the train from.
These latter devices cause, each by itself, a mechanical destruction of soap bubbles and mists that rise with the withdrawing air. The same purpose is used to cool off the rising soap bubbles and mist. On their way they are first cooled by a water bath bpi n, which is formed in a bead of the cover f and then by the outer surfaces of the cover f and the trigger g.
Of course, the water bath n can also include the cover wider than shown in the drawing; it can also be arranged around the vent g or around the jacket of the washing vessel or be designed in such a way that it also serves as a hot water generator for the washing process or to collect any water or soap foam emerging from the vent. You can also preheat the air to be introduced into the Wasebgefäß with the releasing air and thereby cool the withdrawing air, the mist and soap bubbles.
To do this, heat exchange apparatuses of any kind are arranged in or on the cover f or the trigger g or the jacket of the vessel.
A connection in which can optionally be regulated by a valve is also arranged between the air line h and the washing vessel a, so that an air jet can be directed into the upper free space. Hereby the soap bubbles located in the space above the floor e are cooled and destroyed. At the same time, the amount of air entering the washing vessel at the bottom is reduced by the amount of air that is branched off, so that by opening the valve, disturbances caused by soap foam are reliably prevented.
For example, with vacuum cleaners that convey too much air for this purpose, you can direct some of the air outside.
The device can be used for washing and rinsing laundry. .plan can also use it for drying; to do this, the water is drained from the washing vessel and then air is blown through the laundry by the vacuum cleaner. This air absorbs the moisture and thus dries the laundry.
