Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer festen     Diazo-          azoverbindung,    das dadurch gekennzeichnet  ist, dass man aus einer Lösung der     Diazover-          bindung    des     Aminoazokörpers        4-Nitro-2-me-          thoxybenzol-azo-2-amino-l.        4-dimethoxybenzol     durch Zusatz von Chlorzink ein festes Chlor  zinkdoppelsalz der Formel:

    Die so erhaltene feste     Diazoazoverbindung     ist ein rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in Wasser  mit bräunlicher Farbe löst.  



       Beispiel:     Eine aus 330 Teilen des     p-Aminoazokörpers     4     -Nitro    -2-     methogybenzol-azo-2-amino-1.        4-di-          methoxybenzol    hergestellte     Diazoniumchlorid-          lösung    wird mit Hilfe von 100 Teilen Chlor  zink und einer genügenden Menge Kochsalz  gefällt.
