Egplosionskraftmascliine.
Explosive Force Machine. The present invention is an explosion engine with several in a ring-shaped, divisible by a slide working chamber circling piston, which has a acting as a flywheel Ro tor, which has a groove extending along its circumference, which is fixed with a corresponding groove in a surrounding it Housing forms the working space for the pistons attached to the rotor, which interact with the slide in such a way that the slide, in the closed position, delimits a compression chamber on the one hand and an explosion chamber on the other.
A circulation line is expediently provided, which leads the fresh air flowing out of the compression chamber through a carburetor and then directs the finished explosion mixture into a pump cylinder, from which it drives a pump piston into the explosion chamber, the whole thing for the purpose of each piston after it has passed Slide a drive pulse to ge ben.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject of the invention is Darge, and it shows: Figure 1 is a vertical section through a machine along the central plane of the rotor, Figure 2 is a horizontal section along line II-II of Figure 1; Fig. 3 is a fragmentary left side view of the machine in Fig. 1; 4 to 8 are schematic representations of the machine with the rotor in various working positions.
On the drive axis \? sits the rotor 1, which has a semicircular groove 3 running along its circumference. The groove 3, with a corresponding groove 4 of the two-part fixed housing 5 surrounding the rotor 1, forms an annular working space 6 with a circular cross-section for three pistons 7, 7 ', 7 "mounted on the rotor 1. The powerfully held wheel rim of the rotor acts The pistons 7 cast from one piece with the rotor 1 are uniform over the.
The circumference of the same distributed and are on the surface of its outer half, with which they slide along the groove .1 in the housing 5, with sealing strips 8 provided. Sealing rings 9 are inserted between the rotor 1 and the housing 5, so that the pistons 7: The working space 6 is divided into three equal pressure-tight chambers.
The housing 5 has a fresh air inlet 10 on the upper part and an exhaust 11 for the exhaust gases on the lower part, as well as a scavenging air inlet duct II 'which is connected to a fan, not shown. In addition, a water cooling system with inlet 12 and outlet 1a is provided in the housing 5. Ribs 1 'on the rotor are used to cool it.
The slide 14, through which the work space 6 can be divided, is actuated by means of a cam disk 15 and a spring 16 from the drive shaft 2 in such a way that it divides the work space 6 during certain time intervals. Immediately in front of the slide 14, a circulation line 18 branches off from the working space 6, which leads to a carburetor 1.8 and connects this to a pump cylinder 19, in which the latter a pump piston 20 plays.
In front of the pump cylinder 19 is a check valve 21 and behind the same a pressure valve 22 is arranged. A means of a seated on the drive axle 2 chain wheel 23 driven electromagnet 24 triggers sparks in the spark plug 25 periodically.
The operation of the machine is as follows: Each piston, for example 7 'of the rotor 1, when it has passed the inlet 10, sucks fresh air into the working space 6 (Fig. 4) until the next piston 7 passes the inlet 10 and, after the slide 14 opened shortly before the arrival of the piston 7 ', it passed the slide 14 (FIG. 5) and the slide then closed the working space 6 again (FIG. 6), the fresh air is in this way between the closed slide 14 and the next piston 7 ent standing working chamber (Fig. 6) compressed by this, through the.
Carburetor 18 driven ben, mixed with fuel and the finished explosive mixture pressed into the pump cylinder 19.
As soon as this piston 7 has completely closed the junction 17 '(FIG. 7) of the circulation line 17 in the working space 6, the pressure in the circulation line decreases somewhat, so that the check valve 21 closes (FIG. 8). Then the pump piston 20 is pushed forward in the pump cylinder 19, where the pressure valve 22 is opened and the explosion mixture is driven under increased pressure into the working chamber that has formed after the piston 7 has passed on the slide 14 between this and the piston 7.
As soon as the pump piston: 19 begins its return movement, the pressure valve 22 closes again, and at the same time the explosion mixture is ignited by the spark plug 25 behind the piston 7, which shares a drive pulse. When the piston 7 releases the exhaust 11, the stressed combustion gases escape into the open, and the residue is expelled between a scavenging air entering through the air inlet duct 11 'and the subsequent piston 7' until the piston 7 "has passed the exhaust 11 In the meantime, the piston 7 has returned to its starting position in FIG. 5, whereupon the operation described is repeated.
But also between the pistons 7 'and 7 "of the pump 19 and the slide, the same work process has meanwhile been playing, so that the rotor 1 transmits three drive pulses to the drive shaft 2 with one revolution.
