Description

. Cleaning thread packaging. The use of cotton cleaning threads had hitherto been restricted to larger factories, transport companies, shipping companies, etc., i.e. generally to larger shops, because of their large volume, and the introduction of this product to small consumers was not possible.

This difficulty can be ascribed to the following reasons: The cleaning threads are always sold in larger ballots, which take up too much space in small magazines and shops. Furthermore, opening such ballots is cumbersome and a considerable amount of packaging is lost. Furthermore, the weight of the amount of cleaning thread given to workers etc. cannot be easily controlled.

With the present cleaning thread packaging, these disadvantages are now avoided. It consists of a package of cleaning threads of 10 kg weight, which is compressed to achieve a manageable shape and held together by means of lids and binding agents. Such packages of cleaning threads take up little space and allow a controllable delivery of cleaning threads to workers etc.

The drawing illustrates the plaster thread packaging according to the invention in an example graphically.

1 designates, for example, up to a weight of 1, 2, 5 or 10 kg, stacked, rectangular and strongly compressed layers, preferably cleaned, combed cleaning threads. These layers are placed between two cardboard covers 2 and tied together by means of cords or wires d, so that they form a handy package of prismatic shape that can easily be accommodated in an automobile, motorboat, etc. and that retains its shape, even if one part the cleaning threads have been removed.

By delivering such packages to the workers, etc., precise control can be exercised over the consumption of cleaning threads in workshops, factories, garages, etc. and the consumption is very economical.

The cleaning threads can also be placed in layers on top of one another without layering and the packages can be accommodated in smaller rooms, i.e. also used by small consumers, in the household, etc.
