Adjustable heat holder. Thermal switches that work in a vacuum or in a compressed gas atmosphere cannot be set for the reason that it was practically impossible to adjust the parts that were inside the apparatus from the outside.
The object of the invention is to eliminate this drawback so that the internal contacts can be influenced from the outside without changing the vacuum inside the device. According to the invention, this is achieved in that part of the sleeve surrounding the heat switch is made elastic, for the purpose of being able to adjust the inner contact organs from the outside.
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a section through the arrangement of the first embodiment, .lbb. 2 an elevation of Fig. 1. In Fig. 3, an eccentric required for this arrangement is shown. In Fig. 4 a further embodiment is drawn.
In Fig. 1 is a, the metal be standing seamlessly closed protective cover, which is provided with round folds at b in the manner of a tube. These round folds give the protective cover elasticity at this point. At the end of the protective cover, an eccentric disk c is placed, which is shown separately in Fig. 3. This disc lies with its knurled edge against the abutment d attached to the protective cover a. The metal part e that carries the bimetal spring (is inserted into the closed end of the protective cover.
The contact spring carries the switch-off contact h which is melted down by the piece of glass i attached to the end of the metal shell a. The contact cap 7c sits on the glass piece i.
If the eccentric c is rotated, it presses against the abutment d, so that the pipe end kinks, which at the same time adjusts the bimetal spring f connected to the pipe end so that the distance between this spring and the contact spring g can be changed here in the simplest possible way. If, for example, the bimetallic spring f is brought into the position shown in dotted lines, the distance between it and the contact spring g is greater. It therefore requires a greater degree of heat in order to bend the spring so far that it lies against the contact spring g and vice versa.
In the similar embodiments shown in Fig. 4, 1 is the metal shell, which is designed like a pocket at m and into which the bimetallic spring n is inserted. By the screw c, which is fixed in the abutment p, kanzi the pocket-like end m bent more or less and thereby the bimetal spring n can be adjusted relative to the contact spring q. The contact spring q carries the connection contact r, which is fused to the insulation part s.
The metal connection cap t sits on this insulation part.
