  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines komplexen     Caleiumaluminiumäthylats.       Im Hauptpatent wurde ein Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines komplexen     Magnesiumalu-          miniumäthylats    durch Vereinigung von 1     Mol.          Magnesiumäthylat    mit 2     Mol.        Aluminium-          äthylat    beschrieben.

   Es wurde nun gefunden,  dass in analoger Weise ein komplexes     Calciurn-          aluminiümäthylat    entsteht, wenn man     Calcium-          äthylat    und     Aluminiumäthylat    aufeinander  einwirken lässt. Es entsteht hierbei das kom  plexe     Calciumaluminiumäthylat    von der For  mel :     'Al(OC2H5)4)    2 Ca. Die Darstellung erfolgt  in der für das     .Magnesiümaluminiumäthylat     angegebenen Weise, indem man     Calcium-    und       Aluminiumäthylat    entweder in fertigem oder  in statu nascendi aufeinander wirken lässt.

    Die Reaktion kann auch unter Verwendung  indifferenter organischer Lösungsmittel durch  geführt werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  4     gr        Calciumspäne    und 5,4     gr    Aluminium  späne werden unter Zusatz .von etwas Jod  mit 150     cm3    Alkohol erwärmt, wobei rasch    Lösung, unter Bildung der     Äthylate,    welche  aufeinander einwirken, eintritt. Man filtriert  von den Verunreinigungen der Metalle ab und  destilliert den überschüssigen Alkohol zuletzt  im Vakuum ab. Das     Calciumaluminiumäthylat          hinterbleibt    als -schaumige Masse, die sich  leicht in-Alkohol, weniger leicht in     'Xylol,     Chlorbenzol und Chlornaphtalin löst.

  <I> Example: </I> 4 grams of calcium shavings and 5.4 grams of aluminum shavings are heated with 150 cm3 of alcohol with the addition of a little iodine, whereby solution quickly occurs, with the formation of the ethylates that interact with one another. The impurities in the metals are filtered off and the excess alcohol is finally distilled off in vacuo. The calcium aluminum ethylate remains as a foamy mass which dissolves easily in alcohol and less easily in xylene, chlorobenzene and chloronaphthalene.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines kom plexen Calciumaluminiumäthylats, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Calciumäthylat und Aluminiumäthylat im molekularen Verhält nis 1 :2 aufeinander einwirken lässt. Dieses komplexe Calciumaluminiumäthylat ist leicht in Alkohol, weniger leicht in Xylol, Chlorbenzol und Chlornaphtalin löslich. Es hat die Formel: LAl(OC2H5)41 2 Ca. UNTERANSPRÜCHE: 1. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man mindestens das eine der beiden Äthylate im nascierenden Zustand verwendet. 2.
