Explosionsturbine.
, Rad \? links, Rad ö rechts, Rad links eile.).
Explosion turbine. The present invention is an explosion turbine, which has a plurality of rotor elements and at least one associated explosion chamber, which work alternately, for the purpose of allowing rotor elements and explosion chambers to cool down in the intervals.
In the drawing, an execution example of such a turbine is shown. It shows: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through. a part of the turbine along the line 1-1 in FIG. 2, FIG. 2 a cross section, FIG. d a working diagram.
On a shaft a several impellers b, each forming a rotor element, with two blade rings c ', e2 each, are keyed. Between the impellers are arranged stator sectors d each with a guide vane ring e; the stator sectors are assembled with the housing. Continuous rotary valves (taps) g are sealed over the impellers on both sides in bores f of the housing over the entire row of impellers, which are set in constant rotation by the shaft a in some way, for example by gears.
These rotary valves have a number of explosion chambers corresponding to the number of running wheels and a cavity i, which is connected to a pressure oil pump, which sucks in oil from the garter through line 7e and directly on the axis of the Rotary valve g is arranged.
Each rotary valve housing f has a connection in for the supply of compressed gas from a carburetor n, a connection o for the spark plug, a connection p for scavenging air, an inlet port q for the gas into the impeller, opposite the spark plug, and a port r for the purge air to enter the impeller. A container s for compressed air for the preparation of the gas mixture is arranged between the two rotary valve housings f and a container t for the compressed purging air is arranged above this.
The turbine works as follows: The explosion chambers h. of the various running wheels are arranged on both sides of the Tuibinenbeliäuses in such a way that they work one after the other, i.e. alternately, for example in such a way that the side and wheel alternate in a zigzag (wheel right:
, Wheel \? Hurry left, wheel ö right, wheel left.). Fig. 3 shows this distribution for a turbine with six wheels, for example. After the ignition on right wheel 1, the same happens on left wheel 2, then right on wheel 3, then left on wheel 4, etc.
3 shows the ignition position on the right, in which the explosion chamber Ir is connected on the one hand to the ignition and on the other hand to the inflow channel q to the impeller, so that a pulse is here at the moment shown takes place through the ignited glass mixture.
When the rotary valve g is turned in the opposite direction to the clockwise movement, the explosion chamber is first closed, so that the scavenging air connection p on the one hand and the connecting piece r on the other, so that the burnt gases are conveyed out by compressed scavenging air the, wherein the latter explosion chamber and impeller cools and can also give the impeller an impulse.
Gases and purging air can then escape from the housing through the exhaust n. After purging, the explosion chamber of the rotary valve comes into connection with the gas supply line rtt, through which it is filled with fresh gas mixture by means of compressed air from the container s from the carburetor 7a,
so that the process described begins again as soon as the explosion chamber comes into contact with the ignition. In the meantime, however, the same process has taken place in all the other chambers of all the wheels, in such a way that half of the chambers of all the other wheels first come into action before the process begins on the left side of the wheel shown, so that the latter in can cool down between them.
This is also the case with the explosion chambers themselves. These are also cooled by the 01 driven through the cavity, which can also be used for lubrication at the same time. Overheating of these parts and warping of the same is avoided.
The ignition can be continuous or intermittent.
Instead of a double stator finitely sandwiched between the stator impeller, the impeller could also have just a simple blade ring.
Instead of the individual running wheels, a running drum can also be used.
