Einriehtung to 'guide four gate valve plates van = Kanalabeersohielaern. Larger duct shut-off valves have always been designed with pressure rollers that are movably attached to the valve plate.
These pressure rollers also serve as rollers, in such a way that when the slide plate is lifted it is lifted from the sealing surface. .In the case of larger slides, several wedge rollers must be arranged one behind the other; the diameter of the pressure rollers must then. different sizes are chosen so that the smaller lower rollers can pass the counter wedge surfaces of the larger rollers when the slide plate is opened.
As a result, he is a disadvantage, -that an exact guidance of the plate in the side rails by the rollers is not possible, a disadvantage of the name, larger Profiles.mit high water pressure, because then when you open the slide Plate is thrown back and forth in the side rails due to the kickbacks of the water, the suction effect, etc. The forces occurring here can become so great that strong panels and side rails are trimmed.
One has: now tried this disadvantage. to be resolved by the fact that one.an the slide plate on each bolt has two independent rollers moving against each other, which roll on opposite guide tracks of the side rails. One of the rollers can be readjusted in order to ensure that the rollers roll continuously without play. Due to the nature of this setting, the pressure that is to be obtained to press the slide plate onto the sealing surface is simultaneously produced.
Since the position of the rollers cannot be changed when the slide plate is opened, the far upward movement results in a proportionally high pressure on the side rails. Furthermore are. two rollers running against one another, which are exposed to the increased risk of soiling and silting, are required.
The invention now eliminates all .Diese disadvantages in a very simple way, enables precise guidance of the slide plate and, regardless of the selected degree of accuracy in the guide, the setting of the ge in the final position of the slide pressure on each roller.
This is achieved in that the pressure rollers, with the exception of the lowest, are step-shaped and the small step of the same size in all rollers, whose diameter is the same as that of the lowest roller, rolls into exactly corresponding recesses in the side rails while pressing the slide plate is attached to the sealing surface by means of adjustable mating wedges, which act on the second stage of the upper pressure rollers and the lower roller, which have different diameters.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a view of a side rail with three. Counter wedges, while FIGS. 2 and 3 each have a section along line A-B, respectively. along line C-D, and Figs. 4 and 5 show the overall arrangement of a slide in view and section. The side rails b are firmly screwed to frame a.
The slide plate r has three pressure rollers d, dl and d2 on each side, each of which is movably connected to the plate c by a pin f. The small steps of the two-step rollers dl and d2 have the same diameter g as the lower roller d and run in a recess of the side rail b corresponding to their size.
The second step of the rollers d1, d2, on the other hand, is of different sizes, since otherwise, for example, the roller d1 with a diameter h would slide past. the large step on the counter-wedge i belonging to roller d2 would be impossible. In order to limit this increase in the diameter of the large steps as far as possible when the pressure roller arrangement is multiple, the large step is dispensed with in the lowermost roller d. The counter wedge i acts here on the circumference of the roller d, whose diameter g, as already mentioned, is equal to that of the small step of the other rollers.
The counter wedges i themselves are all designed the same. They are guided in recesses in the side rails b and each connected to a set screw k by means of a screw pin in , which engages in an annular groove in the screw k, so that when it is turned in the one or the other sense of the wedge i can be adjusted without turning itself. n is a lock nut to secure the setting made in a known manner.
The guide track of the rollers on the side rail opposite the wedges is designed or recessed opposite the wedges i such that the rollers dl, d2 with the. large steps and the role d can run unhindered by the guide on the wedges.
The horny i are set so that when the large step of the rollers dl and d2 and the lower roller d open on them in the final position of the slide plate c, the slide plate c is pressed evenly against its sealing surface. During the movement of the slide plate c up and down, the slide plate is safely guided by the small steps of the rollers dl and d2 and the lower roller d in the recess of the side rails b.
It is an accurate uninterrupted guidance of the slide plate in the up and down movement and the adjustability of any desired pressure on each wedge roller in the final position of the slide plate it is enough, the device being insensitive to rust and mud due to its simplicity.
