Club seating convertible into a day bed. In the unchanged frame a of the club chair, the seat part b can be folded forward about a rod c. The rear wall d is connected to the seat part b by means of a hinge joint in such a way that in the position according to FIG. 3 it represents an extension of this part lying in the same alignment with the seat part b. At f, side jaws g are hinged to the sides of the rear wall d in such a way that when they bring down the rear wall (FIG. 2) they swing automatically into the vertical position that they must assume when they are at the front according to FIG Feet are used for the day bed.
By means of a further hinge joint lt is connected to the seat part b an extension part i, which rests or rests at its Rückwär term, free end by means of rollers 1c on a guide rail m. running.
The arrangement is such that when the rear wall d is brought down from the position according to FIG. 7, via the position according to FIG. 2 into the position according to FIG. 3, the extension part on the guide rail m is pushed up in such a way that it finally As can be seen from FIG. 3, the space between the folded seat part b and the back frame a essentially fills.
Unless explicitly described, the furniture can be designed in any practical way, as can its upholstery and any equipment with special accessories.
