Description
Bearings for rapidly rotating bodies. The present invention relates to a bearing for rapidly rotating bodies, e.g. B. for fast moving waves.
It is known that high-speed waves tend towards the so-called free axis. For this reason, for example, between the thrust bearing and a resilient or non-resilient base, an intermediate piece mounted in the latter is arranged in a ball-like manner, where inaccuracies in the axis of rotation of the shaft can be compensated for.
According to the invention, the bearing is supported on a membrane (bending plate).
1 of the accompanying drawing shows the subject matter of the invention in an exemplary embodiment for an electric motor with a vertically running shaft.
1 is the motor, which by means of a compression ring 2 (see also FIG. 2) and screws 3 on a membrane 4, e.g. B. a bending plate made of steel, is suspended. The plate 4 is supported on abutment 5, where it is held by means of a press ring 6 and screws 7. As a result of the elastic resilience of the membrane 4, the high-speed motor shaft 8 will adjust itself so that it rotates around a stable free axis, even against the influence of gravity.
Instead of the ring shape shown, another shape could be chosen for the membrane 4, with or without openings, e.g. B. also ribbon or cross shape.
