Description

  

  Rahmen für plattenförmige Gegenstände, insbesondere Bilder.    Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Er  findung bildet ein reifenartiger profilierter  Rahmen aus elastischem Gummi für     platten-          förmige    Gegenstände, z. B. Bilder, Platten  aus Holz und Metall. Ausser als Einfassung  kann der elastische Rahmen z. B. auch als  Schutz bei leicht zerbrechlichen Glas-, Mar  mor- und Porzellanplatten dienen.

   Ein Vorteil  gegenüber den seitherigen Holz- und Metall  rahmen bei Bildern stellt die einfache Be  festigungsmöglichkeit eines Bildes hinter einem  Glas und einer Rückwand hinter dem Bilde  dar; Bild und Rückwand können mit dem  Glas in eine gemäss der Erfindung vorge  sehene Nute auf der Innenseite des     Gummi-          rahmeni    eingesprengt werden. Ausserdem hat  der elastische Gummirahmen die Fähigkeit,  jede Form des     plattenförmigen    Gegenstandes  (Ellipse, Vieleck     etc.)    ohne weiteres anzu  nehmen.  



  Der Gummirahmen kann matt oder poliert,  in schwarz und durch Behandlung mit Gummi  lacken in jeder Farbe hergestellt werden. Es  können ausser Bilder z. B.     -Platten    aus Glas  oder Marmor, für Schreibzeuge, Rauch- oder  andere Service, Tischplatten oder ähnliche    plattenförmige Gegenstände mit dem Rahmen  umspannt werden, als bruchsicherer Schutz  der Aussenkanten und als Einfassung der  Platten. Es besteht auch bei Einrahmungen  von Bildern die Möglichkeit, zwischen Glas  und Gummirahmen einen profilierten Metall  ring als Zierleiste mit in die Gumminute  einzusprengen.  



  Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Zeich  nung in Ausführungsbeispielen dargestellt.       Fig.    1 zeigt den über ein rundes Glas  eines Bildes eingesprengten Gummireifen a.       Fig.    3 zeigt einen Querschnitt durch     Fig.    1,  bei welchem     a    den Gummireifen,<I>b</I> die für  das Glas, Bild und Rückwand ausgesparte  Nute zeigt.

   Durch punktierte Linien ist darge  stellt, wie beim leeren Gummireifen     a    die  Seitenwände der Nute b nach innen konisch  verlaufen und dadurch bei aufgezogenem  Rahmen einen staubdichten Abschluss er  reichen lassen. c ist das Glas, d das Bild  und e die Rückwand, an der eine     Aufstell-          oder    Anhängevorrichtung ohne Schwierigkeit  befestigt werden kann. In     Fig.    2 zeigt feine  Marmorplatte und     a    den Gummireifen. In       Fig.    4 ist b die Nute zur Aufnahme einer      dünnen Marmorplatte c und zweier Holz  platten<I>d</I> und     e,@    wobei<I>d</I> längs- und e quer  laufende Holzfasern besitzt.

In addition, the elastic rubber frame has the ability to easily take any shape of the plate-shaped object (ellipse, polygon, etc.).



  The rubber frame can be made matt or polished, in black and by treatment with rubber varnishes in any color. In addition to images, e.g. B. -Plates made of glass or marble, for writing utensils, smoking or other service, table tops or similar plate-shaped objects are spanned with the frame, as shatterproof protection of the outer edges and as a border for the plates. When framing pictures, there is also the option of embossing a profiled metal ring between the glass and rubber frame as a decorative strip in the rubber groove.



  The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in exemplary embodiments. Fig. 1 shows the rubber tire a sprinkled over a round glass of a picture. Fig. 3 shows a cross section through Fig. 1, in which a shows the rubber tire, <I> b </I> shows the grooves cut out for the glass, picture and rear wall.

   Dotted lines show how the side walls of the groove b are conical inward on the empty rubber tire a and thus allow a dust-tight seal to be reached when the frame is opened. c is the glass, d the picture and e the back wall, to which a mounting or hanging device can be attached without difficulty. In Fig. 2, fine marble slab and a shows the rubber tire. In Fig. 4, b is the groove for receiving a thin marble slab c and two wooden panels <I> d </I> and e, @ where <I> d </I> has longitudinal and e transverse wood fibers.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Frame for plate-shaped objects, in particular pictures, characterized in that the same instead of a rigid material like the previous wooden or metal frames, consists of a profiled tire made of elastic rubber that can be pulled around the plate-shaped object, on its inside it has an inwardly tapering groove for a dust-tight seal.
