Description
Woven felt bag for paper, wood pulp and cellulose machines. As is well known, felt cloths for paper manufacture have to be woven from strong yarn in order to make them as absorbent as possible for water, and there is the disadvantage that the felt cloths shrink in width as a result of the elongation in the longitudinal direction and thus the for the Close the spaces in the gevie that are necessary for paper stock drainage.
To avoid the above-mentioned disadvantages, braided yarn is used as a tube for the production of the woven felt cloth according to the present invention, since the fleece fleece, unlike the twisted threads used up to now, can have greater strength. For special purposes, a filler thread can be drawn into the hollow of the hose braid.
When woven, the thread braided as a tube produces a strong, water-absorbent, soft felt and its hollowing enables a filling thread made of any suitable material to be drawn into the hollowing, for example the stretching of the tubular fabric being kept to a minimum can be reduced.
