Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil électrique et un système de bloc-batterie qui comprend au moins deux blocs-batteries et une pluralité d'outils électriques, lesdits outils électriques pouvant fonctionner dans n'importe laquelle parmi une plage de trois niveaux de tension nominale prédéterminés et chacun des trois niveaux de tension nominale prédéterminés pouvant être fourni à partir d'au moins l'un des blocs-batteries dans le système. Typiquement, chacun des blocs-batteries peut fournir sélectivement au moins deux des trois niveaux de tension nominale prédéterminés. Le niveau de tension nominale particulier qui est fourni par un bloc-batterie à un outil électrique qui est connecté à celui-ci à un instant donné est déterminé par la configuration d'une partie de circuit électrique disposée à l'intérieur de l'outil électrique. Ainsi, le système permet à une gamme d'outils électriques fonctionnant à différentes tensions d'être alimentés avec un niveau de tension approprié et également d'empêcher l'alimentation en énergie à un niveau de tension incorrect d'un outil électrique.
