Abstract

Selon l'invention, un procédé de production d'hydrogène consiste à faire circuler un premier gaz le long d'un trajet d'écoulement à baïonnette d'un reformeur de méthane à la vapeur (SMR) pour produire un premier produit, consistant à faire circuler le premier gaz à travers une mousse disposée le long du trajet d'écoulement à baïonnette ; à fournir le premier produit réalisé dans le SMR à une entrée d'un canal de réaction de décalage de gaz d'eau (WGS) délimité à l'intérieur d'un tube de réaction d'un réacteur WGS ; et à faire circuler un second gaz comprenant le premier produit à travers le canal de réaction WGS pour produire un second produit. L'écoulement du second gaz consiste à faire circuler le second gaz à travers un matériau de transfert de chaleur disposé dans le canal de réaction WGS pour réduire la température du second gaz en circulation ; et à faire circuler le second gaz à travers un catalyseur WGS disposé dans le canal de réaction.
