Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé permettant de collecter un échantillon d'haleine. L'appareil comprend une interface d'entrée d'haleine conçue pour recevoir l'air expiré, un dispositif de dosage conçu pour déterminer un niveau de constituant dans l'haleine collectée, un premier système de conduit s'étendant depuis l'interface d'entrée d'haleine et relié à un ou plusieurs dispositifs de stockage d'échantillon d'haleine, une soupape positionnée le long du premier système de conduit afin de commander un écoulement d'air expiré vers le ou les dispositifs de stockage d'échantillon d'haleine et un ou plusieurs dispositifs de commande conçus pour déterminer si le niveau de constituant est compris dans une plage cible de niveau de constituant et si un taux de changement dans le niveau de constituant est compris dans une plage cible de taux de changement de niveau de constituant, puis commander la soupape à s'ouvrir au moins partiellement sur la base de ces conditions.
