Nature of Lip Smart Tape This tape is an improvement on existing painter's tape (e.g., Scotch Blue and Frog painter's tape) performance, where the tape is made of the same material so as to offer the same adhesive properties, however, the addition of a peel-off lip tape feature makes the taping of the inside or outside of curved surfaces easier, faster, cleaner, and more precise.
Inventive idea:
Painter's tape on the market today, does not allow for easy taping of curved surfaces such as window and stair lips. Smart Lip Tape is shaped to fit around curved surfaces, allowing the painter to apply the tape around a curve with precision. Additionally, the lip tape has clean lines. The advantage of using Lip Smart Tape is that this would allow for a significant reduction in the time taken to tear/cut clean lines in painters tape when taping around curved surfaces.

In the drawings which illustrate the embodiments of the invention:
Figure 3 shows the Smart Lip tape, where the tape is in the shape of a curve.
As with standard painter's tape on the market today, one side of the tape is smooth, and the underside is slightly adhesive to allow for quick yet not permanent adhesion for painting.
Figure 3 shows Smart Lip Tape in standard 3 painter's tape widths of small, medium, and large.

A curved-shaped painter's tape for interior and exterior painting of a variety of surfaces that includes but is not limited to drywall, plaster, wood, and siding, that allows the painter to press-on curved tape over curved spaces that are to be covered.
