Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé de recherche d'organismes spécifiques chez un individu, lequel procédé comprend les étapes consistant à: a) dépister l'individu ; b) acquérir un échantillon de selles de l'individu; c) traiter l'échantillon de selles pour obtenir le microbiome de l'individu; d) séquencer le microbiome de l'individu; et e) analyser le microbiome de l'individu pour déterminer si un ou plusieurs organismes spécifiques sont présents chez l'individu, ce qui permet de déterminer un état de santé de l'individu. L'étape de traitement peut comprendre les sous-étapes suivantes i) l'extraction de l'ADN de l'échantillon de selles, laquelle comprend l'ajout de l'échantillon de selles dans un tube à billes d'agitation, la réalisation d'une lyse cellulaire, la capture de l'ADN sur une membrane de silice dans une colonne de centrifugation, et le lavage et l'élution de l'ADN à partir de la membrane ; et ii) la purification de l'ADN extrait. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de déterminer si un individu présente un état de santé comprenant les mêmes étapes. L'invention concerne également un kit de collecte d'échantillon de selles.
