Abstract

Un milieu filtrant air/gaz est constitué d'une couche cur sensiblement homogène de grappes de duvet maintenues ensemble par un liant pour former une structure de filament interconnecté tridimensionnelle dans tout le cur. La structure de filament forme une poche d'air et relie et piège les grappes de duvet qui forment des poches d'air minuscules entre ses filaments et les cheveux dans lesquels des substances indésirables provenant d'un écoulement d'air/gaz à travers celles-ci sont capturées. Une feuille de canevas perméable à l'air est retenue sur une surface du cur de grappe inférieure. Le cur de grappe inférieure est comprimé à une densité prédéterminée pour modifier la taille moyenne desdites minuscules poches d'air pour piéger des substances indésirables connues à partir de l'écoulement d'air/gaz.
