Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de filtration du carburant contenu dans un réservoir de stockage, dans lequel l'activation d'une pompe de distribution de carburant active simultanément un système de filtration. En particulier, une partie du carburant sous pression délivré par la pompe de distribution est déviée vers un éjecteur conçu pour créer un vide par effet venturi. Ce vide aspire le fluide depuis le fond du réservoir de stockage, à un point inférieur à l'admission de la pompe de distribution de sorte que toute eau ou matière particulaire au fond du réservoir de stockage soit distribuée à l'éjecteur avant qu'elle puisse atteindre l'entrée de la pompe de distribution. L'éjecteur délivre un mélange du carburant dévié et du fluide de fond de réservoir à un filtre, où toute matière particulaire ou eau entraînée est filtrée et extraite du flux de produit. Le carburant propre et filtré est ensuite réacheminé vers le réservoir de stockage.
