Abstract

L'invention concerne un revêtement pour produits agricoles, qui comprend au moins 10 % d'esters de sucre d'origine renouvelable et biodégradables. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un produit agricole revêtu, comprenant les étapes consistant à fournir une composition de revêtement comprenant au moins 10 % d'un ester de sucre biodégradable d'origine renouvelable, chauffer la composition de revêtement à une température pour réduire sa viscosité à une valeur inférieure à environ l00 cP, ajouter la composition de revêtement à un produit agricole pour former un mélange, et refroidir le mélange pour produire un produit agricole revêtu. L'invention concerne également un procédé de réduction de la poussière libérée par un produit agricole qui comprend l'étape consistant à fournir une composition de revêtement comprenant au moins 10 % d'un ester de sucre d'origine renouvelable et biodégradable. Une quantité suffisante de la composition de revêtement est ajoutée au produit agricole pour réduire la quantité de poussière libérée par le produit agricole d'au moins la moitié. Enfin, l'invention concerne également un procédé de réduction de l'agglomération dans un produit agricole granulaire.
