Abstract

A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with an electrode group, a non-aqueous electrolyte, a positive electrode collector lead, a negative electrode collector lead, a positive electrode terminal, a negative electrode terminal, and an exterior body. The accommodation section has first and second accommodation parts. The electrode group and portions of the collector leads are accommodated inside the first accommodation part. The remaining portions of the collector leads and portions of the terminals connected to the collector leads are accommodated inside the second accommodation part. The collector leads are led out from the side surface of the electrode group into the second accommodation part. The terminals are led out from the inside of the second accommodation part to the outside through the sealing part.
