Abstract

La présente invention concerne l'orientation à l'aide d'un dispositif intelligent. Le dispositif intelligent permet d'identifier une position à l'intérieur d'un bâtiment et d'utiliser une surveillance d'emplacement à grain fin pour guider un utilisateur vers un emplacement souhaité. Lorsqu'il atteint l'emplacement souhaité, l'utilisateur peut pointer le dispositif intelligent au niveau d'un mur ou d'un élément et apprendre, interroger ou compléter des détails techniques et d'autres informations concernant le mur ou l'élément. Les détails techniques et autres informations sont mémorisés dans un modèle virtuel augmenté du bâtiment. Le mouvement du dispositif intelligent, combiné à une surveillance d'emplacement à grain fin, établit un vecteur qui est utilisé comme interrogation directionnelle du modèle virtuel augmenté. Ceci permet une entrée facile de données contextuelles dans des structures de données complexes avec un entraînement d'utilisateur minimal. De plus, un agent externe à un bâtiment peut recevoir des informations relatives au bâtiment sur la base d'une position et d'une direction d'intérêt indiquée.
