Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de concentration de minéraux ferreux à partir de résidus ultrafins (boues) issus du traitement du minerai de fer par flottation inverse à un pH compris entre 8,5 et 10,5 avec ajout d'un collecteur de type amide-amine, ou encore d'un mélange de celui-ci avec des collecteurs cationiques traditionnels (amines), en l'absence de tout dépresseur, comprenant éventuellement une étape de concentration magnétique à champ élevé, qui permet d'obtenir un concentré avec une teneur en fer supérieure à 66 % et des teneurs en SiO2 + Al2O3 inférieures à 4 %.
