Abstract
L'invention concerne une bague d'appui unique contre des extrémités d'un élément d'étanchéité qui présente des rainures axiales s'étendant en partie le long d'un segment cylindrique de la bague d'appui. Les rainures se terminent en des ouvertures arrondies pour relâcher la contrainte et une partie de la forme cylindrique de la bague d'appui est solide. L'extrémité rainurée de la partie cylindrique est effilée en section vers l'extrémité chevauchant l'élément d'étanchéité. La face de la bague d'appui à distance de l'élément d'étanchéité est effilée et se déplace sur une surface effilée adjacente à l'opposé du mandrin pendant le réglage. L'extrémité d'étanchéité effilée de la bague d'appui se courbe pour atteindre l'élément tubulaire circonvoisin avant que le reste de la partie cylindrique n'atteigne l'élément tubulaire circonvoisin. L'extrusion le long du mandrin est arrêtée par un joint de mandrin sur une bague à coins adjacente. L'extrémité de mandrin de la bague d'appui possède un raidisseur périphérique pour conférer une rigidité.
