Description

Abstract of the Disclosure Re: LongScotts The invention provides a much safer day for someone who is subject to the dangers of friction. The main purpose of LongScotts is to be worn underneath common pants; for example, while on a motorcycle. This makes the rider much safer due to ergonomically placed DuPont' Kevlat. fabrics on the extended seat area and shin/knee/ankle areas of the pants. The pants stay in location via plush elastic waistband and ankle-bands and because the main construction is a stretchy material. The stretchy pant construction will stretch so that it stays in place with the body weight of the rider should they fall off the motorcycle.
Background of the Invention While motorcycle safety gear isn't new to the market, there isn't a product that makes common pants safer. Many accidents happen when a rider isn't wearing their full safety gear due to its bulky, hot nature and the style might not fit for the location you are traveling too.
Also, the warmth of summer often stops riders from wearing their protective gear feeling that comfort is more important when it's not.
LongScotts are also available in tall sizes. When protective gear doesn't fit as intended, it isn't as safe as intended either. This issue is a main concern for many riders because the vast majority of 'motorcycle pants' are safe due to their built in pockets that will allow for physical pads to be inserted. These pads will sit wherever the pocket is, not necessarily where the rider needs it.
Also, due to the bagginess of most pants, the knee area can rotate; moving the pads upon impact. The immobile, fully sewn in DuPont Key!art* fabrics will be in the correct place.
LongScotts are primarily designed for street use and not the track. That said, they will still provide extra protection and comfort should they be worn on the closed courses. They are easy to clean and don't require dry cleaning.

Description of invention (Regarding fig.1 and fig.2 found attached) 1. The plush elastic waistband fits comfortably under your common pants. The sewing is such that the bulk stitches face away from the client and isn't against the skin.
This will allow for longer wear time before discomfort.
2. The DuPont'TM Keylat. fabric on and around the seat area of the pants wraps under the front sides of the rider. This is a main slide point for riders. The pants use a gusset to ensure comfort in this area
3. The plush elastic from the waistband is also used at the ankles to ensure a proper fit and location of the slide areas of the knee/calve/ankle area. If they were loose like the pants that are currently in the market, the safety areas will move due to the airy design.
4. The DuPont'" Kevlar fabric on the knee/calve/ankle area is a custom ergonomic design to keep the pants light, but also safe. This design bends from the knee to the outside of the leg.
This is the area that can be caught if you are under the bike during the fall.
The pattern of sewing also ensures that the fabric stays in tack during the incident.
5. Moisture wicking materials that make up the main construction of the pants. This material is both antibacterial and moisture wicking. This leads to a comfort that will keep the rider wearing them each and every ride. Comfort is important when you want someone to use it every time they put themselves in a dangerous position.
The Embodiments of the Invention in Which an Exclusive Property or Privilege Is Claimed Are Defined As Follows:
1. A pant to be worn under common pants to increase the safety of the user from friction due to sliding 2. The areas and shape of the DuPont' Kev!are fabric are designed in house and lead to an ergonomically specific fit near the gusset and knee/calve/ankle area 3. The plush elastic band that is sewn with the stitches facing away from the body and holds the garment in place in black high strength thread against the yellow fabric 4. The unique sewing pattern that safely attaches the DuPontn" Kev!al. fabric to the main construction 5. The moisture wicking, antibacterial construction of the main design is a large part of the value.
They age well, feel great on the skin and are easy to maintain
6. The sizing is unisex and come in common length are small, medium, large, XL
and XXL. The tall line is available in Large, XL and XXL and includes an extra 2" of length over the common length Va
