Un procédé informatique pour reproduire un environnement acoustique comprend : laccès à un profil sonore dun premier espace, le profil sonore ayant des signatures acoustiques multidimensionnelles; la mesure dun profil sonore multidimensionnel dans un deuxième espace; la comparaison du profil sonore du premier espace et du profil sonore multidimensionnel du deuxième espace; laccès aux caractéristiques sonores dun périphérique de sortie audio qui servira de périphérique de sortie audio dans le deuxième espace; et la modification de la sortie audio dun contenu média du périphérique de sortie audio tenant compte de ses caractéristiques sonores, la modification réduisant la différence déterminée dans la comparaison du profil sonore multidimensionnel du premier espace et du profil sonore multidimensionnel comme sortie du périphérique de sortie audio.
