Abstract

La présente invention concerne un code logiciel qui fait fonctionner un dispositif d'interruption de circuit qui comporte un circuit d'auto-surveillance qui inclut une unité de commande pour réaliser des essais automatiques sur diverses fonctions et structures du dispositif. Le circuit d'auto-surveillance initie le code logiciel qui comprend une routine d'auto-surveillance qui, entre autres, établit un échec d'auto-essai durant la demi-onde positive ou négative d'un cycle d'alimentation en CA et détermine si les mécanismes de détection à l'intérieur du dispositif détectent correctement l'échec d'auto-essai. De plus, le code logiciel exécuté par l'unité de commande compare des tensions détectées à partir des signaux d'essai à une valeur de tension maximum déterminée ou réglée et compare les tensions détectées à une valeur de tension minimum réglée ou déterminée.
