Abstract

Il est décrit un outil disolation à placer dans lalésage dun tuyau pour fournir une barrière détanchéité sétendant de manière transversale dans lalésage du tuyau pour isoler une section de lalésage pendant le remplacement dune section de tuyau. Loutil comprend une paire de joints gonflables identiques placés à la mi-section de loutil par un sous-ensemble annulaire qui tient les joints en place pour les empêcher de se détacher de la cavité interne de loutil. Les joints gonflables permettent à loutil de sadapter à une plus grande étendue de diamètres de tuyaux. Loutil se centre dans le tuyau, dans la position adéquate, par lui-même, car un gaz est soufflé dans les deux joints simultanément par une seule entrée de gaz dun ensemble de plomberie commun, ce qui permet une installation et un retrait rapides. Des plaquettes de préhension mobiles sont serrées contre la paroi intérieure du tuyau pour tenir loutil en place. Des ensembles de pieds support aident à linstallation et au retrait de loutil. La plaque arrière définit de multiples raccords dorifice. Loutil est surveillé électroniquement par un dispositif de surveillance améliorée distinct.
