Abstract

The invention provides for a simple & effective way to create round or oval shaped burger patties using various varieties of burger patty ingredients. The invention provides for a reversable, dual sided, round & oval shaped burger patty utensil frame body with a measured & pre-positioned inner support ledge, attached handle and a separate round & oval shaped stainless-steel insert disk. The dual sided round & oval shaped burger patty utensil frame body contains the capacity for both " & " thick burger patties and contains an inner ring support ledge, ware as the round & oval shaped stainless steel insert disks fit into the " thick side or the " thick side of the round or oval shaped utensil frame body and sits on to the inner ring support ledge of the utensil frame body. The reversable dual sided round & oval shaped kitchen burger patty utensil, provides & allows the user to create uniformed & consistent pre-determined " or " thick burger patties, resulting in a considerable saving of time.

Description

TITLE¨ HOUSEHOLD KITCHEN BURGER PATTY UTENSIL
FIELD OF INVENTION:
This invention is directed to household kitchen utensils and more particularly the primary goal is to provide a less complicated, more efficient and simplified utensil device, designed & intended for creating all types of burger patties, using a variety of burger patty ingredients and is especially intended for use in all household kitchens. Furthermore a device for creating consistently shaped, uniformed, pre-determined and accurately measured 1/4" & y2" thick burger patties that would result in a considerable saving of time and effort, simplifying & drastically improving the process of producing burger patties, reducing mess & clean up, eliminating the use of non-stick sprays, eliminate pre-weighing, pre-measuring or preforming the burger patties by hand, and as an alternative to how other burger press devices are currently used.
DISCLOSURE ¨ BACKGROUND OF PRIOR ART
The concept of a burger press for the purpose of creating burger patties is known.
However, other inventions, requires the user to pre-weigh, pre-handle or pre-form the burger ingredients prior to placing into the burger press device. Furthermore, requires the user to perhaps use non-stick spray to eliminate burger ingredients from sticking to the press device.
While such devices are functional, they present limitations and drawbacks to people who want to use such a device. For example, other devices require the user to manually apply extensive pressure creating uneven or non-consistent size burger patties. Also, a person is compelled to hand touch and handle the burger ingredients with their hands and use other devices to pre-measure, pre-weigh and pre-form the burger ingredients prior to placing the ingredients into the burger press and or compels the user to manually & continuously make adjustments with several moving parts, in order to pre-set the device, resulting in a much more complicated & difficult process to create burger patties in a household setting.
Other burger press devices, refers to a commercial type device, mainly used in restaurants for the purpose of creating rapid burger patties and does not refer to a simple household patty utensil.
Other devices, for example, have many moving parts and does not allow the user to eliminate mess &
simplify the process to create even, consistent and pre-determined 'A" or 1,4"
thick burger patties Other devices do not allow the user to simply place the burger press devices into an everyday on the kitchen counter utensil basket and must be stored in cabinets or drawers.

2 SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention overcomes the drawbacks of other burger press devices, by significantly saving time, reducing the number of parts, eliminating mess, eliminates the need or requirement to apply non-stick spray or pre-measure, pre-weigh and pre-form the burger ingredients with hand contact of the burger ingredients.
One aspect of the invention includes a round & oval shaped cast-aluminum version of dual sided patty utensil frame body with attached handle. Comprising of a pre-determined 1A"
thick burger patty side and a pre-determined Y2" thick burger patty side.
Another aspect of the invention includes a round & oval shaped molded nylon version of a dual sided patty utensil frame body with attached handle. Comprising of a pre-determined 'A" thick burger side and a pre-determined 1/2" thick burger patty side.
Another aspect of the invention for both the round & oval shaped cast aluminum version and the round & oval molded nylon version of the patty utensil includes, the stationary position of the inner support ledge of the utensil frame body.
Another aspect of the invention for both the round & oval shaped patty utensil is the removable round & oval shaped food grade stainless-steel insert disk that fits into the utensil frame body and sits onto the pre-positioned inner support ledge of the utensil frame body, which separates the 1/4" &1/2" thick burger patty sides.
Another aspect of the invention is that food grade approved materials are used to manufacture &
produce, both the round & oval shaped cast aluminum & molded nylon versions of the patty utensil.
In another aspect the invention provides and allows the user to easily create uniform and consistent pre-determined '4" or Y2" thick burger patties, using a wide range and variety of burger patty ingredients, Additionally, the invention provides for a clean & simplified way to create burger patties with a simple 2-part kitchen tool that easily fits into any kitchen counter utensil basket or utensil drawer.
In further detail, the oval & round shaped patty utensil has been designed to function as a reversable duel sided household kitchen patty utensil device, having the capacity to allow the user of ordinary skill to effortlessly create consistent, measured and uniformed oval or round shaped burger patties, using a variety of burger ingredients, by simply choosing to use either the pre-determined 'A" thick side or the 1/2" thick side of the oval or round patty utensil.

thick side or the 36" thick side of the oval or round shaped version of the kitchen patty utensil.

In this fashion, the invention has been designed as a 2-part system and essentially functions as a 1-part kitchen utensil device, in order to drastically simplify the process of creating burger patties and offers several benefits and advantages to a user which are not found in other burger patty devices. For example, a user does not have to deal with the inconveniences associated with making burger patties including; eliminating the use of handling the burger ingredients with your hands, eliminating the need to pre-measure, pre-weigh or pre-form burger patty ingredients, eliminates the requirement to pre-set the thickness sizes, eliminates the use of non-stick sprays and substantially reduces mess & clean-up after use.
Furthermore, the kitchen patty utensil invention has the versatility of three modes of operation, which allows the user of ordinary skill to use the kitchen patty utensil as follows.
For example; the user places a sheet of wax paper or any other board or tray the users deems appropriate on a kitchen counter. The user then decides to make oval or round burger patties and places either the 'A" or 1/2" thick side of the patty utensil facing upward. The user then places the stainless-steel insert disk, which functions as a base plate into the utensil frame body and sits or rests onto the utensil frame body inner ledge. With a simple kitchen fork, the user places & distributes the burger ingredients into the utensil frame body until the utensil frame body is filled. Now with the burger ingredients in the utensil frame body, the user while holding the utensil handle flips or turns the patty utensil over and rests the patty utensil with the burger ingredients facing downward on the sheet of wax paper. The other side of the stainless-steel insert disk is now facing the user in the upward position. The user then holds the utensil by the handle and on a slight angle, gentle taps the utensil frame body on the wax paper and the burger patty comes out and rests on the wax paper. With the insert disk remaining in position, the user holding the utensil handle, flips the utensil back over in the upright position with the insert disk facing upward and is now ready for the user to repeat the process to produce multiple burger patties.
In another method, the user while holding the utensil handle, tilts the utensil so that the utensil frame body in on a slight upward angle from the wax paper, the user with the same fork can guide the burger patty out from the frame body, without removing the insert disk. With the insert disk remaining in the frame body position, the user while holding the utensil handle, flips the utensil back over in the upright position with the insert disk facing upward and is now ready for the user to repeat the process to produce multiple burger patties.
In yet another method of operation, using the same fork or the user's finger or thumb, the user can press down on the insert disk and ejects the insert disk and the burger patty from the utensil frame body. As the insert disk is now sitting on top the burger patty, by holding the utensil slightly above &
over the insert disk, the user places the same fork slightly under the edge of the insert disk and in one continuous motion lifts the disk upward and places the insert disk back into the utensil frame body. The patty utensil is now once again ready for the user to repeat the process to make multiple burger patties.

Claims (4)

CLAIMS:

1: A household kitchen utensil device comprising of a measured & pre-determined " & " deep dual sided reversable frame body and attached handle wherein; the handle comprising of a series of raised gripping ribs and handle eyelet connects to the frame body; further comprising of a pre-positioned &
stationary inner ledge that protrudes slightly out from the entire inside circumference of the reversable dual " & " thick sided frame body.

2: A household kitchen utensil device according to claim 1; wherein the measured & pre-determined "
& " deep dual sided reversable frame body is either a round shape or an oval shape.

3: A household kitchen utensil device according to claim 2; wherein the removable stainless-steel insert disk corresponds with the reversable pre-determined dual " & " thick sided frame body.

4: The household kitchen utensil device frame body & attached handle according to claims 1-2 is comprised entirely of either rigid nylon or cast aluminum materials.
