Abstract

Il est décrit une méthode de récupération thermique dhydrocarbures situés dans un réservoir. La méthode en question consiste à injecter un mélange, lequel mélange comprend soit des hydrocarbures et de leau (aux fins de chauffage en fond de puits), soit des hydrocarbures et de la vapeur (aux fins de chauffage en surface), dans un trou de puits, puis faire circuler le mélange chauffé dhydrocarbures et de vapeur à lintérieur de celui-ci afin de permettre au mélange chauffé daugmenter la température à lintérieur du réservoir et ainsi réduire la viscosité des hydrocarbures quil contient. Comparativement à faire circuler les hydrocarbures chauffés tout simplement, le fait dinjecter de la vapeur permet de transmettre plus de chaleur au réservoir plus facilement en raison de la chaleur latente de celle-ci.
