Field of the Invention:
[0001] The present invention relates to Double Sided Magnetic Knife Holder the design is stand to store a plurality of knives but can hold other things like scissors or any utensil that can be attached to magnet and is of similar size and shape of a knife. There is an added grove which will act as stand for phone, tablet, small book or paper so the user can carefully withdraw the knife by placing any electronic device on the groove and taking out the knife.
[0002] Aspects of the present invention relate more particularly to child protection through Acrylic Plexiglass on both sides protecting the knife and also someone touching the sharp blade by mistake.
Description of the Related Art:
Description of the Related Art:
[0003] There have been previous inventions of magnetic holders for knives or similar objects, but none that are equivalent to the present invention.
[0004] Different kinds of knives are kept in most kitchens for preparing various dishes. Usually the knives are placed together in a knife rack or a knife stand for convenient use. The existing knife racks mainly use magnets to attract the knife blades. How-ever, there exists a common problem that the magnetic force is likely to be too strong to make it so difficult to remove the relatively small-sized knives from the knife racks, while it is insufficient to attract and hold the relatively large-sized knives securely onto the knife racks and causes accidents easily. For the sake of safety, many kitchens use knife stands instead of knife racks. The existing knife stands comprise slits pointing substantially downwards. Knifes are inserted into the slits and stored therein for future use. The slits can be of different shapes and dimensions to match with knives of different shapes and dimensions. Knife stands can therefore be used to store the knives securely. It has the advantages of making the knives to be stored tidily and conveniently for future use. Accidents can be avoided as the cutting edges of the knives are not exposed. The most common type is a U shaped elongated magnet which is placed on the bottom of a cabinet or on vertical surface. Gravity causes the knives to fall when accidently bumped, creating a hazard.

SUMMARY
100061 In light of the disadvantages of the prior art, the following summary is provided to facilitate an understanding of some of the innovative features unique to the present invention and is not intended to be a full description. A full appreciation of the various aspects of the invention can be gained by taking the entire specification, claims, drawings, and abstract as a whole.
100071 Accordingly. it is a principal object of the invention to provide a means for removably retaining knives in an area where they may be conveniently retrieved. As a first aspect of the present invention, the invention is a Double Sided Magnetic Knife Holder (specific for knives but can hold other things of similar size and shapes as well i.e. scissors or any metal object with a property to attach to magnet.
[0008] As a second aspect of the present invention, Plexiglass on both sides protecting the knife and also someone touching the sharp blade by mistake. Base is specifically created to hold the vertical knife holder and won't move or tilt when taking a knife out or placing a knife in the holder.
100091 As a third aspect of the present invention, Base have a grove which will act as stand for phone, tablet, small book or paper. The device can rest in grove and the back can be rested on the plexiglass.
100101 As a fourth aspect of the present invention, Plexiglass helps to provide a knife holder that not only allows partitioning of knives but also allows the user to see through quickly and correctly identify the knives needed, as well as prevents breeding of mold or microorganisms.
100111 This Summary is provided merely for purposes of summarizing some example embodiments, so as to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the subject matter described herein. Accordingly, it will be appreciated that the above-described features are merely examples and should not be construed to narrow the scope or spirit of the subject matter described herein in any way. Other features, aspects, and advantages of the subject matter described herein will become apparent from the following Detailed Description, Figures, and Claims.
