Engin sous-marin (1) à portance variable, adapté à une navigation en surface (7) ou sous l'eau (8), possédant une coque et au moins un générateur de force normale (6) à un axe longitudinal (4) dudit engin sous-marin porté par ladite coque, où une partie (5) avant de ladite coque est asymétrique par rapport audit axe longitudinal, de façon à générer une portance (10) lors du déplacement dudit engin sous-marin et ladite portance est de sens opposé à la résultante des forces (11) dudit ou desdits générateurs de force normale.
