Abstract

L'invention concerne des techniques et des systèmes pour coder et décoder des données vidéo. L'invention porte, par exemple, sur un procédé de codage de données vidéo comprenant une pluralité d'images. Le procédé consiste à réaliser une prédiction intra-image sur un bloc de l'une des images afin de générer une unité de prédiction. La réalisation de la prédiction intra-image consiste à sélectionner un bloc de référence pour la prédiction de copie intrabloc d'une unité d'arbre de codage (CTU). Le bloc de référence est sélectionné à partir d'une pluralité de blocs codés, et les blocs à l'intérieur de la CTU codés par bi-prédiction sont exclus de la sélection en tant que bloc de référence. La réalisation de la prédiction intra-image consiste en outre à réaliser une prédiction de copie intrabloc avec le bloc de référence sélectionné pour générer l'unité de prédiction. Le procédé consiste également à générer des éléments de syntaxe codant l'unité de prédiction en se basant sur prédiction intra-image réalisée.
