Abstract
La demande se rapporte à une méthode et à un système denregistrement de réponses auditives stables dune personne. La méthode comprend le fait de fournir un signal de stimulus acoustique à loreille dune personne et lenregistrement des réponses auditives stables de la personne découlant dudit signal de stimulus acoustique. La présente demande a pour but dexciter le système auditif avec un signal capable dévaluer la capacité du système auditif de traiter la parole. Le problème est réglé vu que le signal de stimulus acoustique comprend un stimulus semblable à la parole fourni en tant que combinaison de stimuli spécifiquement liés à la fréquence. Chaque stimulus comprend une bande passante de fréquence, une fréquence de répétition, une amplitude et une modulation d'amplitude précises (prédéterminées). Dans une réalisation, la méthode et le système comprennent la quantification des modulations d'amplitude en fonction du temps et/ou en fonction du niveau. La divulgation a pour avantage de permettre une évaluation clinique des effets dun appareil auditif dans un mode de fonctionnement normal (lors du traitement de stimuli liés à la parole, par exemple). Par exemple, linvention peut être utilisée comme instrument diagnostique, dans le but de vérifier le raccord dune prothèse auditive.
