Abstract

L'invention concerne une vanne de type plongeur à ressort ajustable pour un ensemble tête de carottier pour un train de tiges de forage. L'ensemble tête de carottier comprend un mécanisme de verrouillage. Une tige de vanne est raccordée fonctionnellement au mécanisme de verrouillage et s'étend vers l'extrémité outil du train de tiges de forage. Un orifice d'écoulement de fluide intérieur est agencé entre le mécanisme de verrouillage et la vanne. Un orifice d'écoulement de fluide extérieur est agencé vers l'extrémité outil du train de tiges de forage. La vanne comprend un anneau de vanne non élastique et une bille de vanne élastique. La bille de vanne passe au travers de l'anneau de vanne pour ouvrir et fermer la vanne. Un diamètre de la vanne à bille élastique est configuré pour être variable afin de varier une pression requise pour déplacer la vanne à bille au travers de l'anneau de vanne.
