Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour diagnostiquer si un sujet sans antécédents connus de fibrillation atriale souffre de fibrillation atriale, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes de a) la détermination de la quantité dun peptide B-natriurétique dans un échantillon prélevé sur le sujet; b) la comparaison de la quantité du peptide B-natriurétique avec une donnée de référence; et c) lévaluation délectrocardiogrammes intermittents obtenus auprès du patient sur une période dau moins une semaine au moyen dun appareil délectrocardiographie portable.
