Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système, un procédé et un programme informatique utilisant un moyen algorithmique de hachage associatif à distance pour fournir un moyen très efficace d'interroger rapidement une base de données volumineuse. Les moyens d'indexation peuvent être aisément sous-divisés en une pluralité de segments interrogeables indépendamment, chacun de ces segments pouvant interroger une portion de données connexes de la base de données, où les index sous-divisés desdites portions sont hébergés entièrement dans la mémoire principale de chacun des moyens d'une multiplicité de moyens de serveurs. Les grappes de moyens de serveurs résultantes, dont chacune héberge un secteur interrogeable d'une large base de données d'informations audio ou vidéo consultables, apportent une amélioration importante en ce qui concerne la latence et l'extensibilité d'un système de reconnaissance automatique de contenus, entre autres utilisations.
