Abstract

Un système de chenille pour la traction dun véhicule agricole et des procédés connexes sont décrits. Le système de chenille comprend une chenille élastomère et un ensemble venant en prise avec une chenille pour entraîner et guider la chenille autour de lensemble venant en prise avec la chenille. Lensemble venant en prise avec la chenille comprend une roue motrice pour entraîner la chenille et une pluralité de roues venant en prise avec la chenille pour communiquer avec partie inférieure de la chenille. Un mécanisme de distribution de la charge latérale est conçu de telle sorte que les zones de contact avec la chenille inférieures des roues venant en prise avec la chenille latéralement adjacentes sont mobiles les unes par rapport aux autres dans le sens de la hauteur du système de chenille lorsque le véhicule agricole se déplace dans des champs agricoles et sur les routes pavées. Une limitation de vitesse pour le véhicule agricole sur une route pavée est transportée par un fournisseur du système de chenille et plus souple en raison de la présence du mécanisme de distribution de la charge latérale.
