Abstract

Dans certains agencements selon l'invention, un emballage de produit est tatoué numériquement sur une majeure partie de son étendue afin de faciliter une identification d'article à haut débit au niveau de caisses de sortie de vente au détail. Des images capturées par des caméras classiques ou plénoptiques peuvent être traitées (par exemple, par des GPU) afin d'obtenir plusieurs vues différentes à perspective transformée, réduisant en outre au minimum le besoin de repositionner manuellement des articles pour leur identification. Des plis et autres déformations dans un emballage de produit peuvent être détectés optiquement, permettant à ces surfaces d'être virtuellement aplaties pour faciliter l'identification. Des tas d'articles peuvent être modélisées en 3D et segmentées virtuellement en primitives géométriques pour faciliter l'identification et découvrir des emplacements d'articles cachés. D'autres données (y compris, par exemple, des données provenant de capteurs dans des allées, des rayons et des chariots, et un suivi du regard pour obtenir des indices concernant un relief visuel) peuvent être utilisées pour évaluer des hypothèses d'identification concernant un article. Des logos peuvent être identifiés et utilisés, ou ignorés, en identification de produit. L'invention concerne également divers d'autres caractéristiques et agencements.
