Abstract
Cette invention concerne un système d'alignement circonférentiel d'un sous-système de verrouillage de fond de trou dans un trou de forage. Ledit système comprend un ensemble outil extérieur comprenant un accouplement de verrouillage présentant un profil de verrouillage et un sous-ensemble de fente présentant un profil de fente s'étendant dans un sens axial. Un ensemble outil intérieur peut être positionné à l'intérieur de l'ensemble outil externe. Ledit ensemble outil interne comprend un ensemble de verrouillage présentant une pluralité de clavettes de verrouillage et un sous-ensemble d'orientation présentant une pluralité de clavettes d'orientation. Pendant l'utilisation, après l'alignement axial du sous-ensemble d'orientation avec le sous-ensemble de fente, la rotation du sous-ensemble d'orientation provoque la mise en contact d'au moins une clavette d'orientation avec le profil de fente et, suite à cela, l'alignement axial de l'ensemble de verrouillage avec l'accouplement de verrouillage, entraine la mise en contact opérationnelle des clavettes de verrouillage avec le profil de verrouillage.
