Abstract

Un procédé permettant daméliorer la conformité de linjectivité dune formation souterraine hétérogène contenant des hydrocarbures en réduisant la variance de la saturation en eau dans toute la formation comme moyen pour améliorer la récupération lorsque linjection de vapeur est appliquée ultérieurement. Un piston à solvant est créé par des injections incrémentielles de solvant suivies de périodes darrêt pour permettre au solvant de se mélanger à lhuile dans les zones de saturation en eau relativement élevée, créant ainsi un piston pour déplacer uniformément leau dans la formation afin dobtenir une conformité dinjectivité deau le long du puits.
