Abstract

La présente invention concerne une méthode de filtrage dun flux de boues contenant un solvant dans un procédé dextraction de sable bitumineux non aqueux. La méthode comprend les étapes suivantes : a) fournir un flux de boues contenant un solvant, qui comprend un hydrocarbure aliphatique; b) déposer dans le flux de boues en a) comme gâteau de filtration sur un matériau filtrant, une couche supérieure de liquide étant formée sur le gâteau; c) permettre à la couche supérieure de liquide en b) dêtre drainée à travers le gâteau, de sorte quil ne reste essentiellement plus de liquide sur le gâteau; d) permettre à gaz de pénétrer partiellement dans le gâteau pour obtenir un gâteau de filtration ayant une couche supérieure liquide épuisée en solvant; e) faire passer le solvant liquide dans le gâteau au moyen de la couche supérieure épuisée en liquide obtenue en d) pour obtenir un gâteau de filtration lavé; f) retirer le solvant du gâteau de filtration lavé en e) pour obtenir un gâteau de filtration épuisé en solvant; g) retirer le gâteau de filtration obtenu en f) du matériau filtrant.
