Abstract
The present invention provides a power adapter with good waterproof property. The power adapter of the present invention comprises a housing having a cavity, wherein one end of the housing is provided with an opening, the other end of the housing is provided with a plug having two pins, and two sides of an open end of the housing are provided with a first recess and a second recess. The power adapter further comprises a rear cover, an inner wall of the rear cover is provided with a first protrusion and a second protrusion, after the housing and the rear cover have been assembled together, the first protrusion and the second protrusion engage with and fasten the first recess and the second recess, respectively, and the rear cover fully covers the recesses of the housing. Furthermore, a first waterproof groove and a second waterproof groove are formed at a connecting part of the rear cover and the housing, and the first waterproof groove and the second waterproof groove are infused with waterproof glue.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a power adapter, and specifically to a waterproof power adapter.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Power adapters have special configurations in terms of structure. Sealing structure of existing waterproof power adapters usually has drawbacks, and thus a complete sealing is hard to achieve. A housing of a disclosed power adapter is provided with an opening, besides, components of the housing are not well designed to effect a stable engagement among the components, which makes the housing untight. In addition to an unattractive appearance of this type of power adapter, external water and moisture may pass into the interior of the power adapter, resulting in performance failures. A housing of another type of power adapter is encapsulated with PVC glue, however, the housing and the PVC glue cannot be integrated into one piece during the manufacturing process, so that the sealing structure of the power adapter sill has deficiencies and the external water may pass into the interior of the power adapter, in addition, the manufacturing process of the power adapter is complicated and inconvenient.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In order to solve the above technical problems, the present invention provides a power adapter with excellent waterproof property.
The technical solution provided by the present invention is a modular waterproof power adapter, comprising a housing, the housing having a cavity, wherein one end of the housing is provided with an opening, the other end of the housing is provided with a plug having two pins, and the two sides of an open end of the housing are provided with a first recess and a second recess.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a first waterproof groove and a second waterproof groove are formed at a connecting part of the rear cover and the housing, and the first waterproof groove and the second waterproof groove are infused with waterproof glue.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the cavity is mounted with a printed circuit board having electric wires and electronic components.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the printed circuit board is connected to an internal terminal of a connecting plughole with thread of the rear cover.
The modular waterproof power adapter of the present invention has the following advantages over prior art. The housing of the modular waterproof power adapter of the present invention is provided with recesses corresponding to the protrusions disposed on the inner walls of the rear cover for stability, such that the rear cover fully covers the recesses of the housing, thereby achieving a better sealing and waterproof effect as well as a better aesthetic appearance as compared with existing power adapters. In addition to the better aesthetic appearance and improved waterproof property, the power adapter of the present invention is safe, stable and easy to manufacture, which may bring economic beneficial results for the manufacturers. The power adapter of the present invention is provided with two rectangle grooves (the first waterproof groove and the second waterproof groove) infused with waterproof glue, so that the sealing effect is further enhanced and the power adapter thus has a complete waterproofing performance.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a power adapter, and specifically to a waterproof power adapter.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Power adapters have special configurations in terms of structure. Sealing structure of existing waterproof power adapters usually has drawbacks, and thus a complete sealing is hard to achieve. A housing of a disclosed power adapter is provided with an opening, besides, components of the housing are not well designed to effect a stable engagement among the components, which makes the housing untight. In addition to an unattractive appearance of this type of power adapter, external water and moisture may pass into the interior of the power adapter, resulting in performance failures. A housing of another type of power adapter is encapsulated with PVC glue, however, the housing and the PVC glue cannot be integrated into one piece during the manufacturing process, so that the sealing structure of the power adapter sill has deficiencies and the external water may pass into the interior of the power adapter, in addition, the manufacturing process of the power adapter is complicated and inconvenient.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In order to solve the above technical problems, the present invention provides a power adapter with excellent waterproof property.
The technical solution provided by the present invention is a modular waterproof power adapter, comprising a housing, the housing having a cavity, wherein one end of the housing is provided with an opening, the other end of the housing is provided with a plug having two pins, and the two sides of an open end of the housing are provided with a first recess and a second recess.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a first waterproof groove and a second waterproof groove are formed at a connecting part of the rear cover and the housing, and the first waterproof groove and the second waterproof groove are infused with waterproof glue.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the cavity is mounted with a printed circuit board having electric wires and electronic components.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the printed circuit board is connected to an internal terminal of a connecting plughole with thread of the rear cover.
The modular waterproof power adapter of the present invention has the following advantages over prior art. The housing of the modular waterproof power adapter of the present invention is provided with recesses corresponding to the protrusions disposed on the inner walls of the rear cover for stability, such that the rear cover fully covers the recesses of the housing, thereby achieving a better sealing and waterproof effect as well as a better aesthetic appearance as compared with existing power adapters. In addition to the better aesthetic appearance and improved waterproof property, the power adapter of the present invention is safe, stable and easy to manufacture, which may bring economic beneficial results for the manufacturers. The power adapter of the present invention is provided with two rectangle grooves (the first waterproof groove and the second waterproof groove) infused with waterproof glue, so that the sealing effect is further enhanced and the power adapter thus has a complete waterproofing performance.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ILLUSTRATED EMBODIMENTS
Detailed embodiments of the present invention are described below in conjunction with drawings and examples:
Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 illustrate an embodiment of a power adapter of the present invention.
The power adapter has good waterproofing performance as well as aesthetic appearance, thereby overcoming the shortcomings present in existing waterproof power adapters.
As shown in Fig. 1, the modular waterproof power adapter of present invention is provided with two recesses (a first recess 10 and a second recess 9) respectively at two sides of an open end of a housing 12. The modular waterproof power adapter also comprises a rear cover 1, an inner wall of the rear cover 1 is provided with two protrusions (a first protrusion 5 and a second protrusion 6) that correspond to the two recesses of the housing 12. After the housing 12 and the rear cover 1 have been assembled together, the two protrusions of the rear cover 1 and the two recesses of the housing 12 are fully engaged with each other and completely fastened together. Therefore, the rear cover 1 fully covers the two recesses of the housing 12, so that external water and moisture cannot pass into the housing 12, resulting in an excellent sealing effect of the power adapter.
The modular waterproof power adapter of the present invention is further provided with two rectangle grooves (a first waterproof groove 4 and a second waterproof groove 7), wherein the rectangle grooves are infused with waterproof glue, so that the sealing effect is further enhanced and the power adapter thus has a complete waterproofing performance.
The two waterproof grooves, the first waterproof groove 4 and the second waterproof groove 7, are formed at a connecting part of the rear cover 1 and the housing 12 after the rear cover 1 and the housing 12 have been assembled together.
Comparing with the existing power adapters, the power adapter of the present invention has better aesthetic appearance and improved waterproof property.
Furthermore, the power adapter of the present invention is safe, stable and easy to manufacture, which may bring economic beneficial results for the manufacturers.

Detailed embodiments of the present invention are described below in conjunction with drawings and examples:

The power adapter has good waterproofing performance as well as aesthetic appearance, thereby overcoming the shortcomings present in existing waterproof power adapters.
As shown in Fig. 1, the modular waterproof power adapter of present invention is provided with two recesses (a first recess 10 and a second recess 9) respectively at two sides of an open end of a housing 12. The modular waterproof power adapter also comprises a rear cover 1, an inner wall of the rear cover 1 is provided with two protrusions (a first protrusion 5 and a second protrusion 6) that correspond to the two recesses of the housing 12. After the housing 12 and the rear cover 1 have been assembled together, the two protrusions of the rear cover 1 and the two recesses of the housing 12 are fully engaged with each other and completely fastened together. Therefore, the rear cover 1 fully covers the two recesses of the housing 12, so that external water and moisture cannot pass into the housing 12, resulting in an excellent sealing effect of the power adapter.
The modular waterproof power adapter of the present invention is further provided with two rectangle grooves (a first waterproof groove 4 and a second waterproof groove 7), wherein the rectangle grooves are infused with waterproof glue, so that the sealing effect is further enhanced and the power adapter thus has a complete waterproofing performance.
The two waterproof grooves, the first waterproof groove 4 and the second waterproof groove 7, are formed at a connecting part of the rear cover 1 and the housing 12 after the rear cover 1 and the housing 12 have been assembled together.
Comparing with the existing power adapters, the power adapter of the present invention has better aesthetic appearance and improved waterproof property.
Furthermore, the power adapter of the present invention is safe, stable and easy to manufacture, which may bring economic beneficial results for the manufacturers.

Various changes can also be made within the range of the knowledge possessed by a skilled person in the art, without departing from the objectives of the present invention.

A modular waterproof power adapter, comprising a housing (12), the housing (12) having a cavity (11), characterized in that, one end of the housing (12) is provided with an opening, the other end of the housing (12) is provided with a plug having two pins (13), and two sides of an open end of the housing (12) are provided with a first recess (10) and a second recess (9);
the modular waterproof power adapter further comprises a rear cover (1), an inner wall of the rear cover (1) is provided with a first protrusion (5) and a second protrusion (6), after the housing (12) and the rear cover (1) have been assembled together, the first protrusion (5) and the second protrusion (6) engage with and fasten the first recess (10) and the second recess (9), respectively, and the rear cover (1) fully covers the recesses of the housing (12).

4. The modular waterproof power adapter of claim 3, characterized in that, the printed circuit board (8) is connected to an internal terminal of a connecting plughole (3) with thread (2) of the rear cover (1).
